Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel & Convention Center

Nice room, great location. We were in Room 533 and our Housecleaning lady was awesom

We booked our room on Booking.com and it said the room had a sofa. It did not. When we arrived Thursday night at around midnight, when we awenoticed there was only one robe.I walked down to the front desk barefooted(not thinking) the security guy chastised me for not having on shoes🙄at 12:30 AM. When I informed them of the robe they both( the lady and the aforementioned guy) were like "too bad you'll have to wait until tomorrow" Also the phone in our room didn't work so I always had to go downstairs for anything we needed

Premium bedding and blackout curtains made for a very comfortable sleep experience.

Housekeeping knocked on our door at 9:30 am and woke us up from a deep sleep, apparently just to ensure we vacated on time. We had hoped to enjoy a leisurely start to the day, relaxing in the quiet of our room. Their interruption was disruptive and intrusive, done purely for their convenience since we did not ask for a wake-up call. The first rule of hospitality is you do not disturb your guests unless they have stayed beyond checkout time or it’s a matter of safety. Neither was the case here.

Location was great to the Braves game, food and close to shopping. The room was big and comfortable. Cleaning staff came every day and ask if we needed cleaning. Breakfast was ok. The guy at the coffee bar was amazing, very pleasant and knew what I wanted everyday.

The view was a wall. Barely could see anything. If you book through a third party they charge you the whole amount at time of check in. I stayed for 5 nights on the third day my key didn't work. I went down stairs. They told me I had to pay for 2 more nights. I told them the whole 5 nights were taken out of my account. They told me it was pending and they could not see it. I had to pay for 2 nights and they reimbursed me out of the pending. They said when you book through a third party like booking.com that's the way they do it. It was very inconvenient to spend a d extra 550 dollars to stay the 2 nights when I they had the whole 5 nights pending. If you pay for the breakfast, it really isn't worth it. Same thing everyday. Nothing special.

We were there for a Braves game, so we didn't stay long, but the room was lovely, clean, large and beds were so comfortable. Shower and toiletries were excellent. Very quiet and slept great. Staff were super friendly and location was excellent for the game.

Two complaints which some may say are non issues, but when you pay this much for a room, it is still unbelievable to me that you charge use $25 per day for parking. It has never made sense to me how hotels can do this, it's ridiculous and frankly just plain greedy. And throw in that $6 bottle of water left in the room so your kid can grab it before you can yell, NO! don't touch it! I work hard for my money and I appreciate luxury , but please , the next thing we will be paying for is the soap in the shower..

The customer service was EXCELLENT! Absolutely Top Notch! My original room had Only 1 bed (supposed to be 2 qn ) and I immediately let them know and they had me in another room immediately! The Food (breakfast) was EXCELLENT!! There's 1 thing I wished they'd had , the Lil Cafe in lobby I wish was Open later! We're HUGE coffee/cappuccino/ late night junk food people, LOL And after the ballgame we got back and there was nothing open. But they do have a few Cold drinks & Salad's, Sandwich, desserts available in a cooler up front we did purchase. (Still I wanted a Cappuccino) but all in all ,, WE WILL BE BACK NEXT DODGERS BRAVES SERIES!! They're officially MY NEW Place to stay for my BB games!

That the Cafe wasn't open later,I expressed it earlier. It would have been Great for Them to be open to atleast 9pm(other 4star places I've stayed their cafe are open till 10pm

Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the view was great - we looked directly at Truist Park and watched the fireworks from the room. The staff were very helpful and everything was clean and comfortable. Parking was also easy.

The hotel says it is .4 mile from Truist Park. Well, it is - as the crow flies. In actuality, we walked maybe a mile to get from the hotel to the ballpark. It wasn't a big deal (and we caught a bike taxi back, which was big fun), but if we'd had mobility issues we'd have been upset.

The location was the host hotel for the Biomass Conference in the adjacent/connected Cobb Galleria Centre, so it was easy to move from hotel to conference and back. My breakfast was well prepared during my one-day stay, and the room was very accommodating even though I didn’t spend much time there. The hotel staff from front desk to bartenders at the lobby bar were very pleasant and helpful.

Once we were moved to a new room, the whole trip got better! No overwhelming smells and we could rest easy! The staff was very accommodating and helpful.

They put my coworker and I in a room that smelled strongly of cat urine. When we called housekeeping, they sprayed some air freshener (which didn't last an hour), and apologized for the 7 people staying in the room next to us who had refused housekeeping all week. We complained to the service desk who moved us to a different floor. Much cleaner room and had a killer view!

Housekeeping kept coming into our room after we said no thank you and the door sign was out. Also on our last day we thought that check out was at 12 based off of Booking.com, housekeeping came inside our room, flipped on the lights and told us check out is at 11 in the most rudest manner. This was at 11:04. We got up and left shortly after.

Great location, the rooms were always clean and tidy, and the staff was always really nice

I wished the steam and sauna were open, but I understand with Covid. However there were no signs indicating it was shut down, so that was my only disappointment with that. Also, not sure if there was an option for alternative pillows. I need better support for my neck and none that were in my room offered that.
