I loved the location! It was right on the square. I was able to leave my husband (who is disabled) and walk to the stores and restaurants. That was very convenient.

The bathroom in our suite was tucked into a corner and it was hard to close the door for privacy. You have to walk out of the room with the toilet to go wash your hands in the room with the shower and that was kind of gross to me. Also, the threshold in the bathroom has flooring that has come unglued. (Just so you will know and it can be repaired.)

The property is beautiful and in a perfect location! My husband and I have been two Dahlonega twice now just to visit this sweet town. 27 on Park will be the only place we stay from now on. we travelled with 2 other couples, and each rented a different size room. we rented a 1BR suite, 1BR queen suite and a 1BR King suite. All 3 rooms were a great size! we could not have been happier!

The only issue we had was that the ADA ramp didn’t have a gate to enter the property there is only a gate at the entrance. Also, you a receive a key to enter your room and to get the rooms the doors are left unlocked with the key laying in the room. Putting coded locks and a gate at the ramp would feel a bit safer.

Lauren is the manager and she was fantastic. We were checking in after hours and she sent us a text message clearly explaining what we needed to do. After we checked in, I had a question about parking and at 10;00 at night, she answered me and answered my question. She was fantastic! The place is right in the middle of Dahlonega. Parked the car and walked everywhere.

It has a limited view to Main Street, because there is now a building right in front of the entire building. It was an ok view, and we won't complain too badly about it. It was a cute place, and we loved the staff, so friendly and helpful. The security light on top of the building was shining right in our room. We took the ironing board and small table and pressed it against the blinds to make it less bright. We LOVED THE LOCATION. Walked across the street to the shops and great food places. Enjoyed our stay! It is more of a wedding like venue now. We had the upstairs queen suite, nice. Coffee pot needs to be replaced. not working correctly. Comfortable bed. clean. It has antique furniture that is a nice decor. could use some paint. Nice floors. Internet is not great. TV would stall. Military discount...

The staff was excellent, responsive, and helpful if anything was needed. The location was superb to the square for ease of enjoying all of Downtown shopping, restaurants, and scenery. Beautiful property that allowed us to pop back in while shopping to take a rest or use the restroom at any time. Very peaceful and welcoming atmosphere.

There wasn't quite enough seating in the suite. The sofa was just a loveseat and there wasn't a chair in the bedroom to help my Aunt get dressed. The short couch made having visitors difficult and was torture to sleep on when made into a sofabed.

The hotel was lovely with so much character. The rooms were spacious. The additional living room was a bonus.

If you stay in Room 1, you will be blinded by the spotlights from the hotel directly behind the building. We hung a blanket over the window, but it was still extremely bright, which is not conducive for sleep. They just need to invest in black out curtains.

Very clean spacious rooms.

The seating in the sitting room was two straight back chairs. Not comfortable at all to watch tv. A love seat or recliners would be better. Even two wing back chairs with arm rest would be nice. The room stay light all night from the outside lights. Black out curtains or the outside lights placed on a dimmer would help.

Great location in the middle of downtown. An older style hotel that has been refurbished The whole town look like something out of a Norman Rockwell scene. Family run and they are incredibly accomodating and friendly. Beautiful event facility was there too but we didnt use it. We'll be back!

Every room is different and I wish I knew more about which room is which. I'll have to come back and experiment.

Location on one corner of the main historic downtown square was outstanding. Room was comfortable, easily accessed and the environment of the hotel is in a very low crime zone - highly safe location. Comfortable bed!

Parking was effective, but relied on municipal lots and was not ideal. The room did not have a safe, it would seem this could be rectified. Be ready for a smaller room, the hotel is in an older building in the historic area that has been remodeled into modern hotel rooms.

The twin sisters in the office were very friendly, helpful & efficient. Location on the square was the best feature.... everything reachable on foot. Bed was good.

Very loud air conditoning unit from Holiday Inn next door -- had to sleep with ear plugs. Lock on door very cumbersome to maneuver. Lighting was very garish, not cozy.
