Easy check-in procedure by using booking.com😉 Friendly reception with the room ready and clean. This is an older motel but I feel like they have tried hard to renovate the rooms and make it as comfortable as possible. Like other places during this time it's hard to get and keep workers so I realize that can be a challenge. The room I was in was very comfortable and clean with an AC that was relatively quiet. I've stayed at many other places where the AC sounded like an ✈️ taking off. The TV was great and the refrigerator kept stuff cold and had a freezer that worked well. Again, this has been an issue at other places. The bathroom was in great shape as well with a great shower. There was plenty of room in the - room. The breakfast was fine with good coffee and eggs and sausage and waffles. Plus sweets and fruit. The location is great- walking distance to everything downtown as well as the grocery store right next to it. Overall a great relaxing stay. It's not overly fancy or anything but for it's age it is pretty good.

I honestly can't think of anything. I feel like the staff really tried hard to make my stay great. Everybody that I ran into was friendly. The other guests that I had a chance to speak with also seemed pretty happy as well. The motel just reminds me of "old" Helen which I like.

Overall experience was very good, location was excellent, size of room was good, have complain on cleaning, it was good but there was lots of dust on furniture, bathroom size was small, but was manageable.overall experience was satisfactory. Staff was very good, polite, and helpful

very close to downtown so you can walk just about everywhere. like how they’re pet friendly. decent prices for the overall stay. good customer service, very friendly and nice.

the bed was very hard and not comfortable, the bathroom was small even for just one person. the bed comforter didn’t look clean, had spots on the inside where it looked like it was just turned over. took way too long to learn how to just get the tv on live tv. was expecting a little more breakfast options. not a whole lot of grassy areas for pet relief and not a designated pet pick up station to dispose of waste.

Great room location for our 2 dogs. Clean room, Ashley at the front desk was extremely helpful. Great location in Helen, near Betty's (IGA store/deli), Walking distance into downtown.

The TV was left on in the room. No soap, no face clothes, nor hand towels in room.

Everything! Perfect location to walk everyone in town center, including the FestHalle! Great breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable beds & the front desk/mgr was the best I have ever encountered at a hotel! If you can hop on the carriage ride that leaves from there too!

Price was a tad high but considering when we went (during Oktoberfest) it was bearable.

One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for the pool. My kids & I were disappointed that when we got there the pool was green & nasty. Bad advertisement. It didn’t totally ruin our vacation but it would have been nice to have a heads up that the pool wasn’t useable.

The staff both times were tremendously helpful and kind! Great location because you are right by Sally's market and that end of Main Street. The beds were very comfortable and the room is large. My favorite was that the refrigerator was a very large size because I carry a lot of food when I travel.

Our bathroom door stuck a bit and could have used some paint. The vanity was so low but we are tall so maybe others won't notice. I think we were the first ones to turn the heat on this year and it set off the smoke alarms, lol. Nothing that would make us not stay there again.

Front desk gentlemen were fantastic. Both of them did an amazing job helping us. We received great restaurant recommendations & how to navigate around town. Due to covid we received continental breakfast, no room cleanings but if you needed anything you filled out a form & items were left at your door. That worked for us. The best thing about this hotel is location, location, location. Is located within walking distance to the center of the town, didn't the car at all. There is a grocery store next door, a bakery across the street. Extremely clean, was even cleaner that the suite we stayed at the night before (different town). I will definitely stay here again.

It didn't have a restaurant or snack bar. Since everything closes relatively early there is no place to get food specially on weekday.

Perfect location. Not directly on Main St so not disturbed by traffic or people walking by. Next to Cimmi’s Cafe for the best breakfast. Then cross the street to the Bakery for fresh German bread and pastries.

The rooms were large & the beds were comfortable. There are some Cosmetic issues that need to be fixed. Room 223 - in the bathroom & bedroom it’s obvious they fixed some wall damage and then painted just those parts of the walls with a different shade of blue. Bathroom towel shelf was moved and there are still holes in the wall from the previous shelf. Simple fixes.
