Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kingsland I-95-Naval Base Area, an IHG Hotel

Here's a list of things we loved: Breakfast was very delicious, sausage gravy, pancakes and eggs were our favorite. Staff went all out trying to make us feel at home. During breakfast, the staff manager came out and made us feel welcomed. When booking the reservation I had made a "Special Request" and they were not obligated to make it happen but they did and we were overjoyed. On the night we arrived, I had accidentally left my debit card at the front desk. The lady at the front desk went to our room and turned it in as soon as she noticed. Overall, the staff set the bar pretty high for all other hotel's we'll encounter in the future.

Breakfast was good, the location of the hotel was excellent, more secluded and quiet, away from the main mix down the street. Do to the location there was no in and out traffic, Pricing was a little more but it felt safer than staying near the discount hotels nearby. Definitely going to be my stop on the way to Florida next time.

The hot water in the shower was mediocre, could have been little warmer. My room was near the side entrance door which was loud when people were coming in and out. Despite these few things I still give this hotel an excellent rating.

We stayed here the night before our Disney vacation. This Hotel is beautiful and clean.. the Front staff makes it even better. In the morning when we were headed out the breakfast wasn't open yet. BUT.. the from staff said grab breakfast before you head out.. She was so nice.

I have stayed in this area before and it was on the other side of the road.. I was not comfortable staying over there again. I am so happy that this was available. The area is so so. But this is the best option in the area.

The location was perfect…just off the I-95. This was a beautiful hotel! The room was absolutely amazing, super clean, quiet, modern, and very comfortable for us! Slept like a baby! We had a sofa bed, which was great for the kiddos! The breakfast was sensational!!! They had everything…eggs/sausage/oatmeal/biscuits/gravy/fruit/pancakes/toast/yogurt…etc. Everything was delicious! The staff was super friendly! Thank you!

Absolutely nothing!

The rooms were spacious, and enjoyable to be in. The beds were comfortable, and we loved the different levels of form to soft pillows (which happened to be marked on the pillowcases which we found to be very cool). The breakfast was better than most hotel breakfasts, and they kept it well stocked. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

My only complaint was that they didn’t have the discovery channel, and it was shark week. Wish that all hotels were this great. Would have liked to stay longer.

Cleanliness, staff, location and breakfast were on point This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at while traveling from NJ to FLA in quite a while. I didn’t remember my loyalty points number but they found it for me. I’d recommend this hotel to everyone. I’ll definitely stay there again.

I honestly can say there’s nothing that I did not like.

The pool wasn’t open yet. This is not listed anywhere on booking.com or the hotel website. It was hard to find someone at the front desk in the morning because they were also in charge of breakfast. The breakfast was bad. It was the same thing everyday and we were told by staff it was made the night before. It tasted like it. Skip it and go buy breakfast. My husband also saw a staff filling the to-go cereal cups without any gloves on. That’s gross. When we arrived there was someone’s hair on the couch and something like crumbs on the bed. The safe in our room didn’t work and we weren’t offered an alternative. They know it’s broken and say they can’t fix it. Masks were being worn by half the staff and guests.

Very clean with all the necessary conveniences. Easy access to I95 and lots of restaurants and gasoline stations nearby. Very friendly staff

Our reservation was for a mobility accessible room. However, we were unable to use the shower because we couldn’t step into the bathtub.

The cinnamon rolls were excellent! The location was convenient to freeway access. The facilities were very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to my friends who are traveling in this area.

There was nothing I didn't like.

3/27/21 (one night stay) This hotel was amazing. It appeared to have been recently renovated in a very modern, clean, very tasteful style which we loved. The location was perfect for us because we were traveling on I-95 and needed a mid-trip place to stop overnight. Our king suite was quiet, modern, newly-redecorated (as I mentioned), and spacious. The staff at check-in was helpful and prompt. I had called earlier in the day to advise that we would be arriving late because of unexpected traffic delays, and staff called us back later during our drive to make sure we would still make it because they were fully booked and wanted to be sure we got our room - I really appreciated that. When we did check in shortly after midnight, there were in fact people waiting in the lobby to see if anyone did not show up to claim their reservations so I was especially relieved that someone had called us to save our room for us! There was plenty of free outdoor parking.
