Green Palm Inn

Nicole was awesome, her food was delicious! Her hospitality and kindness was sensational! She kept the place extremely clean and stocked! Never seen or met the owners, so the exceptional rating goes all to her .

The pictures did make the room look larger than it was . The overhead fan light did not work and the fan itself stayed at one temperature. I do wish breakfast was longer than just 1 hour and I wish there was 4 free parking spaces, since there are 4 rooms in the Inn . But we were lucky and got one of the two . Also the stand up shower spraying things in the walls are not made for short people, the level they are at sprayed me right in the neck and face , so fat showers ..... Get the rooms with the bath and showers. But honestly still a very clean nice cozy stay.

Breakfast was delicious and portions were generous. Loved the extras: homemade cookies, fruit, tea, coffee, and wine. Owner is super personable and approachable. House was exceptionally clean, thanks to a lady who has faithfully worked at the inn for several years. Location is great for exploring the historic district.

We wished we could regulate the temperature for our room. We were quite chilly while in there. However, the inn has so many positive features that they far outweigh this little issue. We also realize that we tend to be "cold-natured" and like for room temperature to be a little higher than most people probably choose. Also, there are plenty of warm covers for the bed and nice robes to enjoy!

The Green Palm Inn is an exceptional property, and I would stay there again. The home is beautiful, and Nicole and her breakfast (and cookies) were just lovely! Highly recommend!

Lots of steps leading to the room -but that's to be expected. We didn't not like the stairs (they're very charming); just a lot of work to get our luggage to and from our room. The lightening in our room was real low, but also added to the charm.

Breakfasts were excellent! Other amenities, such as cookies, wine, other drinks were appreciated, as well. Nicole was very helpful and went above and beyond.

Air conditioning was set pretty low and since the thermostat was in the hall and unavailable to guests, that made it difficult. Thankfully, we were able to use one of the free parking spots and then walked everywhere, however, if we hadn't had one, it would have been difficult.

Room was very spacious. Breakfast was excellent. Nicole took great care of us and was helpful with tourist information. It was nice to have access to hot teas, water, sweets and chocolates. Super Uber friendly town.

Our room was a bit dark. The way the house is positioned and location of our room, the sun light did not stream into the room until late in the afternoon. Lights in the closet would have been helpful.

Great location, within walking distance of the entire historic area, with very comfortable and well appointed rooms. Very relaxing stay with a group of friends. We had reserved three of the four rooms, so the inn felt like our 'home'. Really enjoyed and relaxed in the common area and appreciated the available wine and snacks in the late afternoon. Two very good restaurant options within two blocks away.

Everything in the inn was perfect!

Breakfast was good, but not as amazing as it looked on the website. Very good location, walked everywhere. Very helpful staff. Let us leave luggage there after we checked out. Beautiful home and furniture.

Did not receive email regarding check in. No one there to check us in. Phone number was noted on front door. Luckily someone answered and provided info how to enter into home. Happy hour nothing special. Just a couple of bottles of wine available. No food.

A delicious breakfast was prepared and served each by our friendly efficient hostess Nicole. The location of the Inn was perfect for walking to excellent restaurants, shopping and the exciting river front. The Inn was exceptionally clean and had generous offerings of yummy fresh baked cookies, chocolates or wine.

Breakfast was delicious and the perfect amount, but the cookies they had were divine!!! We probably ate more cookies than breakfast! Was also nice that we could get water when needed and there was also wine out in the afternoons which was a nice touch!

In our particular room we could hear a local bar/restaurant music and noise, but it did shut down at 12:00 am. There was also a lot of street/car noise, but not unbearable.

Although I cannot speak for others, during our stay 8/27-8/29 our experience was delightful! The self check-in was a convenient and considerate option during COVID-19. The owners had two adorable small dogs that were quiet and well-behaved. The homemade breakfast was delicious and was the perfect way to start a day of sightseeing. The location is ideal and we walked everywhere. This was our first stay at a B&B and we plan on returning before the year’s end. Also, super clean! ❤️😁 10/10 from Marquita & Ronnie!!!
