I liked the location and the decor of the hotel itself, it was in a great location within walking distance of all the main attractions. There was a happy hour with wine and entertainment which was well attended. We attended a talk on the history of the hotel which was really interesting.
The room was very small and was quite noisy due to creaking floors in the building especially from the room upstairs. Breakfast was very slow and you had to order by ticking a selection sheet. Apart from the first day I don't remember getting everything I ordered each day,

The staff generally was excellent. The breakfast was good and prompt. The location is unbeatable. We enjoyed the wine reception in the evening with the musicians. Dinner at 45 Bistro was excellent.
We checked in at the same time as my daughter and there was some confusion at the front desk. They wound up charging both rooms to my daughter's credit card, which we didn't discover until we got home. The air conditioning is VERY LOUD and woke up my wife and me whenever it came on.

The staff was genuinely nice to us and very helpful. The room was adorable and clean. The hotel has a lot of historic artifacts, but there was very little context provided for the items considering the time period they came from.
Parking option was a little expensive and we didn't want to bother anyone for our vehicle but also didn't know where our vehicle was.

Location is excellent, right in the centre of town. Room was a decent size, and comfortable.
The breakfast was only average, for a hotel with the Marshall House reputation and charging what it does for a room, I would expect all freshly prepared food. There was a poor choice.

Water bottles and coffee were available all day. There was always plenty of staff to serve us. The location was close enough to walk where we wanted to go. The breakfast quality was better than usual buffets. The nightly entertainment and wine was especially nice. There's a parking garage right behind the hotel.
There was a $35 daily fee for the above mentioned amenities. The room and shower were small. The valet service is a LOT more than parking yourself; we paid $48 to park ourselves 4 days, only taking our car out once, even though it said $20 a day. We were told the valet service was $38 a day. I'm not sure if that also would have been less if we didn't use the car daily. The water in the bathroom was without pressure and the hot seemed to go off as soon as we added cold, in the sink, as if you could only use one or the other. It didn't seem to be a problem in the shower. They say the breakfast is cooked to order; I would disagree with that. It was more like other breakfast buffets but with someone else choosing your portions and offering a possibly better quality.

We liked the spacious one bedroom suite with view to an internal court where breakfast was served. Classical ambience with luxury details. Historic hotel with good and comfortble reception. The staff was friendly and helpful. Bottles of water, coffee and tea were complimentary, as well as a drink every evening.
The breakfast was very simple and limited in variety and it was not up to the standard of the hotel. Since there is a public parking behind the hotel, the valet parking fee is expensive if you dont use the car a lot.

We were on the 2nd floor with access to the porch and rocking chairs/ tables. It was quiet hot during our stay but we did enjoy the porch a time or two. Breakfasts were awesome in a great setting. Loved the evening wine and cheese and the scheduled activities that went along with them (music, history on the hotel, area, etc.). The staff was amazing, especially the food and beverage manager and the breakfast wait staff!

Very convenient location, walk to everything. Lovely property, a little on the high side, but it’s downtown Savannah. Nice, but smaller room. Bathroom was old timey, but there was a like rack for a few toiletries. Would have given 5 stars all the way, but our room had a claw foot tub that I consider dangerous….especially for a Senior. No other way to take a shower…you had to climb in. I know some people like the look, but I believe safety is more important. Breakfast was very good, in a lovely setting that was a courtyard at one point. We would stay again if we can have a walk-in shower which I believe some of their rooms have.
Claw foot tub!

Excellent location for walking to all the sights in the historical district. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent. We liked the method of ordering your desired items from a check-off list. We also enjoyed the afternoon wine offering and trivia game. The MC was great. Parking was easy at a very nearby public garage.
Getting in and out of the antique bathtub to take a shower can be challenging for some. A small footstool could have been very useful.

The location is great for being able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The breakfast that’s included was very good, the wine & games/entertainment each evening was a bonus for sure, and the staff is very helpful & friendly.
Not the property’s fault but our room faced a parking garage that was quite loud at times, especially early morning.
