The Cotton Sail Hotel Savannah - Tapestry Collection by Hilton

The location was fabulous. Concierge was extremely helpful. Valet extremely efficient and showed concern for our car.Front desk staff most efficient in our booking and in getting assistance. Believe it or not the place was very quiet. Loved the miniature ice machine.

Unfortunately my sister's room had a broken chest of drawers which they attempted to repair but didn't quite do the job right. We went to the rooftop bar and were unhappy with the service which then led us to not try the restaurant area. Our room was lovely and we just wished that the balcony was a real balcony but what can you do with an older building? So, we were satisfied.

Check in was the smoothest and best experience of any check in I have ever done. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate our dinner (delicious) at the bar in the River House and met some nice people from Canada and Virginia. Our balcony on the 4th floor was fantastic for people watching below. The location was perfect for all the things we wanted to walk to.

The rooftop restaurant and bar are operated by an outside vendor. The bar and restaurant were closed for a private party. Had to visit a property next door for viewing the river, why not stay at the other property they said they do not close for private parties. Parking was a little high $39.00 a night but self-parking is none existent. Remote for tv only lowered volume and channels. Did not notice till late at night.

Everything! The Cotton Sail is located right at the midway point of River Street which enabled my family to fully enjoy the riverfront, not to mention that the rest of the historic district is just a few steps from the front entrance. The hotel itself is a midsized boutique hotel with the right amount of amenities and high end room decor. Last but certainly not least the staff were fantastic with no shortage of the southern hospitality that we southerners are known for. I fell in love with Savannah as a young boy and usually return at least once a year for a long weekend respite. I will be staying at the Top Sail on future trips!

Water pressure was not great had a lot of trouble with the lock on the door Disappointed that there was so little "rooftop" on the "rooftop bars"

We love this hotel for the River view and the rooftop bar. The location was excellent for the riverfront and the town.

The Nest restaurant is noisy, the music is way too loud and the menus are wired. We don’t enjoy eating there. Would like to see something more traditional.

Location was convenient for our itinerary. Food at the restaurants was very good. Most hotel employees were gracious and helpful, with 1 exception.

The "concierge" was employed by the tour bus company and was unable to help us on tours from other companies. We didn't mind that the "concierge" was pushing his/her company tours, but to not even be familiar with other ones is not right.

I like that it was close to the river walk and the square.

It was a little pricey but beautiful. I didn’t think it was fair the hotel should charge for their rooftop July 4th party. They could have limited the time you were allowed to stay. I was so happy to just celebrate our country’s birthday with others after last year, I shouldn’t have had to pay for that on top of the exhibit at amount the hotel charged for the privilege.

The location and staff were excellent! My room was spacious and the views from the room & balcony were superb. The on-site restaurant and bar were also great places with good people and hours of operation.

The view was great. Terrific location. Balcony was cool but tiny. Bed and TV were good, and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room could have been a little cleaner, especially the shower in the bathroom. The fitness room only had cardio equipment. No pool is disappointing.
