overall.. ok when i arrive i was told the room I booked didn't exist and was just charged more... apparently high room with a view is an option for more money however doesn't exist... one elevator worked and the hotel was very sold out this made movement very taxing so we just took stairs from the 6th floor a few times.. small complaint but again for what you're spending... upon arrival to our room there were dirty socks still in the floor and the AC didn't work. They cleaned the socks and fixed the ac on day two of our stay. The room was fine, showers were great, staff was phenomenal however for the amount i paid in acceptable sadly

The hotel and room were very clean and the beds were comfortable. We felt very safe at this location. The bar staff was friendly. I know my dislikes seems longer than my likes, but I would certainly stay there again. Nothing was "terrible," and the positives outweighed the negatives.

The thermostat would reset itself at random times causing the room to get cold. It took quite a few days before we could keep the room temperature steady. We stayed for 6 nights. Someone came and made the bed and picked up the towels but didn't leave supplies behind. We were shortened the floor towel twice during our 6 night stay and had to run to the front desk to get a toilet paper roll. Finally, the bathroom was never cleaned during our stay. 6 nights in one room certainly could use a toilet and tub scrub. The coffee bar was often empty.

Parking at Whitaker St. Park garage was very reasonable for downtown Savannah, it was $20/night. The central location to downtown Savannah historic district, we were in the middle of it. The room was spacious, with high ceilings, and there was an abundance of natural light. The staff were extremely friendly and they made us feel very welcome. The hotel provided vouchers for our breakfast and also vouchers for drinks at the bar, so basically, eating and drinking was on the house.

The cost of eating everywhere in Savannah that we saw is extremely inflated. The hotel provided vouchers for our breakfast and also for drinks at the bar, so basically, eating and drinking at the hotel for the 1 night stay did not cost us. The prices on the menu are high just as one will find everywhere in the city.

The hotel was nicely decorated very clean and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect

After traveling and arriving to the hotel late evening what was disappointing was the check in. Usually the staff is welcoming and at least pretend and put on a smile, but not this time. Was a very odd check in. There were 2 young ladies ignoring us no eye contact when they were engaging with us. I really do I wish I asked there names. One of the girls was very rude. I can’t remember any time I felt this way checking into a hotel I do wish for the money we spent there was a mini fridge.

Great location, good service, nice and clean hotel.

I was steaming mad. I expected to pay $400 for 2 nights and with all these hidden fees it was almost $800!!! $35 per day for parking, taxes, cleaning fee, you name it. If it went up $50 I could eat that but jacking it up another $400 made my stay miserable because I felt like I got robbed. The hotel was alright. I was would $200 for 2 nights for all fees in total. Room, taxes, car parking etc. Not more than that though.

I liked that the hotel was conveniently located right there on River Street so it was a convenient walk to the shops and restaurants and night life on River Street.

I didn't appreciate one of the front desk workers, I didn't get her name, but the hotel allows for pets which is fine, but we were waiting to check in and she was free so we moved to her line and as soon as we did there was a person with their husky( whom had already checked in) returning the luggage cart to the front. We were standing right in front of the check in desk in front of her and instead of her checking us in she went to gush and admire the dog. While we were standing right there, we went back over to the previous line we were in as that young lady had finished up with the customers she was checking in and we were able to be checked in by her

Location, location, location! It was so perfect to walk to everything! We never used our car until we checked out. Rooms were cozy, staff was friendly, and it was pet friendly. We were so happy with the location being right across the street from all of the river front holiday festivities and fireworks. We will definitely be back!

The hotel room lighting was not adequate for women doing their hair & makeup. It looked like the lights around the mirror were burnt out and other lights in the room were not very bright. The $48 valet was pretty costly, but the valet guys were very efficient and friendly.

Room was comfortable, and the staff was wonderful.

Room smelled musty. I think the heat pump unit needs to be cleaned and a new filter installed. Supposedly there is a restaurant on the premises, but it was not operational the entire time I was there, only the bar. And the bar was out of several key items, including red wine. How does that happen on New Year's Eve? Felt like the restaurant was being closed down or going out of business. Free coffee was available the first two mornings, but surprised to find no coffee on the third morning. No rhyme or reason to any of the food or beverage service on the premises.

The people all through the hotel inside and outside were so friendly and helpful. Very nice hotel to stay at and located in a wonderful spot to get out and walk around Savannah. Loved it!

They could put a sign up in the restaurant area that has the juice, coffee, ect that they were not self serve. The young man who works there would go over and was not very pleasant telling you this. Yet it's just sitting out there with cups and glasses. They didn't say they had water for the guests outside at the car pick up area.

The staff was so nice, polite, and helpful. The hotel is close to everything fun so we were able to walk almost everywhere. It's also a very good price compared to other nice hotels in the historic district. The mattress was very comfortable.

I do wish there had been a microwave in the room and a 2nd chair instead of just one chair. Also, even when I turned the AC up to make it cooler, it always eventually defaulted back to 70 or 72 degrees. Our sink drain seemed slightly stopped up because the water drained very slowly and backed up easily in the sink, and some of the vanity light bulbs were burned out. But other than that, this hotel is great. The staff is wonderful and it's a great value.
