The location is perfect, just a short walk to one of the awesome beaches. The garden patio is incredible. The inn is a historic building with tons of charm. They spared no details with the charming decor! The owners are so friendly and welcoming. Our room was cozy and we loved the balcony!

Honestly, only thing missing was a little mini fridge or something to keep drinks and beach snacks in to keep them cool. We brought our own cooler and they have ice available, so we made due! Otherwise truly no complaints.

Tybee Island Inn is a lovely and low-key spot. We traveled with our dog—all went very well and being close to Jaycee Park was great for walks. The inn is a short walk to a beautiful beach--which is great because parking is impossible on the island! Hosts are super nice and had lots of suggestions for eating and more.

Everything was great . . . only suggestions are to have fresh coffee available earlier than 7:30 in the morning (or provide coffee makers in the rooms), and perhaps to extend breakfast period, say from 8 to 10, for those who like to start their day earlier.

(Sorry for the old photo that uploaded with the lighthouse photo) Vasa and her husband were the perfect hosts. I mean perfect. Took care of all our needs. Cozy, warm Inn with a front plaza filled with seats under magnificent oaks decked out in hanging moss. The Inn has an interesting history! Only wish we had seen our hosts to thank them in person as we left but I know they’re busy bees running the Inn. They went out of their way to serve me gluten free breakfasts and see to our requests. All the others staying there had stayed at the Inn before— repeat visitors is a sign of an excellent guest house. No surprise—the Inn feels cozy like you’re staying at grandmas. We’ll join the repeat ranks as we plan to return hopefully in the spring.

The little room we stayed in didn’t have a closet or wardrobe. That’s the only reason we gave it a lower score for comfort. Had to live out of out suitcases for five days.

The location was the best part of my stay. We walked everywhere, and that was cool. The ease of check-in was a close 2nd. The other tenants were friendly, although the place is a historic house and it is very well kept. I would stay here again. They offered free beach towels, which was great since we did forget ours.

I stayed in the Sea Cabin, and I hated the fact that I could not sleep in due to being next to the kitchen. So I was awake every morning around 6 am, and that part truly sucked for me. Also, we never met the owner,which I would've appreciated just to know who they were. Lastly, we were missing pillow cases on a couple pillows, which was fine bc we are not really pillow ppl

Loved loved loved the Tybee Island Inn. The charm and comfort here were perfect, and Alyssa and Zach were amazing hosts. We stayed in the Lighthouse Room, which featured a large king bed, a 2nd queen bed, a private deck, a large private bathroom, and a TV. Breakfast is served each morning at 9, and everything we ate was so delicious. There is always coffee and some small snacks (granola bars) available in the kitchen area. The Inn is about 5 minutes by bike (or golf cart) from North Beach and the Tybee Lighthouse, or about 15 minutes by bike from South Beach. The Inn has bikes you can borrow, making it easy to get around the island. The outside patio is so welcoming - we could spend all morning out on the porch under that huge live oak! The street is quiet and peaceful - didn't feel like there were a ton of other people around. Easy access to the main road to get out to Savannah - which is an easy 20-25 minute drive inland. Will definitely be back to stay here again!

The queen bed in the Lighthouse Room is in a little alcove, which can be pretty stuffy. We'd recommend to the property to get a small portable fan to get the air moving in that space. The room was honestly a bit tight for 4 adults, but absolutely not unmanageable (someone just needs to be ready to sleep back in the corner by the window). Parking can also be really tight - one night we came back around 11 PM and another guest had parked across 2 spots, meaning there was not room for us. We figured out an alternate spot, but it was frustrating to get back late and not have a spot. This was the only time we had an issue with parking, and it was not the Inn's fault at all.

The staff were great and the breakfasts were delicious. There were plenty of things to do and the front porch and courtyard were an excellent place to relax and wind down in the early morning and evenings.

We were two friends traveling together and needed 2 separate beds. Our room had 2 beds, but one of the beds was in a loft accessed by a steep, winding open staircase that was tricky for this 60 year old to navigate - especially if I needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

The inn was beautiful and close to the beach and the light house. The staff was friendly and very welcoming, the breakfasts were delicious. The stairs to our room were very steep and narrow. I loved the room but would ask for a downstairs room in the future. The parking was very tight, and some guests were rude and took more than their share of space. The location was right beside of a rehab facility, which meant lots of people in the area and traffic. It was clean, beautiful, always smelled great as soon as you walked in. And I would highly recommend staying, just ask for a downstairs room.

We loved the location in the quieter north area and close to north end beaches. The hosts were great and provided a nice breakfast each morning, as well as gave great food suggestions for Tybee Island and Savannah.

The only issue we had was getting use to the steps inside the room in several places, especially going into the bathroom and out of the bathroom. Had to remember that so we wouldn’t fall :-)

The food was wonderful. The room was beautiful and the beach was close and inviting! We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and we had an amazing time. There was live music on the front porch and a huge layout of snacks that we enjoyed while listening and talking together. It was great!

I can’t think of anything we did not like other than parking on the island. We were able to find parking without paying extra but it required planning. The inn did offer a shuttle service for a small fee which was nice but we managed without using it.

Extremely hospitable inn keepers and we enjoyed the family feel of the bed and breakfast. The Mermaid room was large and the bed was extremely comfortable. The beach was a short walk from the bed and breakfast. They provided towels, chairs, and beach bags to guests. The inn keeper will drive you anywhere on the island for a small fee and possibly pick you up at the airport so a car is not necessary.

Wish we could have stayed for breakfast the last morning but we had a flight to catch in Savannah and were not able to be at the inn for the one time breakfast time of 9:00 AM. The location doesn't have as many restaurants as the southern tip of the island but we were able to find restaurants that suited us just fine.
