This was the perfect location! We booked this hotel to be close to the Christkindlmarket market and Michigan Ave was easy walking distance as well. Pro tip: Book the parking garage through an app like SpotHero or Parkwhiz... You'll pay a LOT less than the validated parking "deal" the hotel offers.

The frosted glass barn door on the bathroom was weird. If you get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, it will light the entire room up like daylight and wake your partner. 😑

There was a lot to like about this hotel, and it's tough to come up with what I liked best -- but I'll start with the location, which is why I chose it. Just a few blocks from Chicago's biggest tourist attractions, and no more than a couple of minutes' walk to every single train line. But I also appreciated the extremely comfortable bed, the spacious room, the decor, and the lounge area.

There were only two things I didn't like. First, the TV, which is an issue at a lot of hotels, even very good ones. The interface was buggy, there were few features, and there weren't many channels. I'm not sure why the TV at a nice hotel can't be at least as good as the TV most people have at home. Second, the bathroom had a barn door that didn't quite close all the way and didn't lock.

Close to lot of restaurants, parks and the Riverwalk. The location was great, breakfast is not included, the room was ok, just the basics nothing fancy. Very quiet.

They could do better on amenities and areas. Went to the bar at 5pm and it was close. Went to the Game Room other night and it was close too. We had like two towels for three persons and had to ask for more, run out of towels, klennex and toilet paper first night cause these last two were already used or opened. So at least hotel could've left extras. Also, no security box on rooms and no entertainment of any kind.

Located in the heart of the city, the hotel is an attractive destination with modern and convenient facilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable stay. The unlimited in-and-out privilege of parking adds to the convenience, while it's worth noting that the lobby is situated on the 9th floor.

No complimentary breakfast. I will not come back again, because I came to the realization that choosing to stay outside the city center while traveling to Chicago presents distinct advantages. By doing so, guests can avail themselves of free parking and enjoy complimentary breakfast options. Furthermore, Chicago's well-developed public transportation system facilitates convenient access and navigation throughout the city.

With reservation for 3 - I thought they would have gotten the room ready for 3 persons but the linens are set up for 2 only first off. we requested additional and they were brought promptly when requested. The waitress/bartender on Friday night was super nice in the restaurant...wish I could remember her name....awesome person!!!!

Food was good one breakfast someone's french toast was NOT cooked thru...was raw and returned to kitchen and subbed out to another choice and it took extra time. The ice machine on the floor we were on was not working. we were room 2008, the 20th floor....boo hiss! Of course room rates/prices are fairly steep-- but with close proximity to theaters it was probably average for downtown on a weekend still would have been nice if less costly.

We reserved a deluxe king room and loved the amount of space. The fridge and microwave were so helpful as a family traveling with a young baby. It was also so great that we could also reserve a pack n play, so we didn't have to check luggage. There is a smart mirror in the bathroom that connects to Bluetooth sound, which was really cool. The location is perfect - close to Millenium park, River north area, and a blue line station. The grab and go food area was a nice touch. Staff was friendly and helpful. The showers didn't leak all over the bathroom floor, which I've noticed other hotels have had this issue with a glass half wall instead of a shower door. We didn't have any noise issues. Overall, it was a great hotel!

I've noticed a trend in hotels putting an opaque piece on wooden bathroom doors. It's beautiful, but this also means everyone is up when someone gets up early. These doors don't block the light from the rest of the room. Probably wouldn't be an issue if you aren't married to someone who gets up at 4 am lol

Love the location. This was right in the heart of what i was doing. The hotel is so accessible to all forms of public transport. Staff was lovely and extremely helpful. The room was huge...like HUGE! Super comfy bed. We didn't have much of a view, but wasn't an issue for us as we spent so little time in the room.

I have nothing negative to say. I mean, if I HAD to nitpick...I could have used a firmer pillow and I'm not personally found of the type of shower screen they use, but it's definitely a hip style. I guess one legitimate complaint I have is how long the elevators take. Only 2 seemed to be working at the time and there was frequently congestion at peak hours.

The room was spacious. Bathroom was nice and big. They must have great insulation or something because when we were in our room we literally couldn’t hear anyone else in the hotel. We could hear street noise and stuff but it’s what you should expect. ALSO Cabaret Zazou, located in the same building was a fantastic surprise. My friend and I went to the show and it was the best part of our trip. We probably wouldn’t Have heard about it if we hadn’t stayed at the Cambria.

Bed wasn’t super comfortable and it was smaller than expected (the bed specifically). They also don’t have smart TVs which seems outdated. No room service and the fridge didn’t work unless it was just supposed to be a cooler or something

I am a person who really cares about cleanliness when I stay at a hotel. This hotel hit all the marks when it comes to creating the ideal room. The floors are laminate and tile (no carpet). The linens are simple with no bedspreads. Platform beds and simple and modern design. The bathroom is spacious, updated, and clean. the prices was also better than any other hotel around that area and outside of the city. Property actually looks like the website photos.

The only thing that I could say I didn’t like was having to check in on the 9th floor and then having to get on the elevator again to go to our room. That wasn’t even a big deal.

Hotel is located in a fantastic area and is walking distance to all the key sites, restaurants and the Lake and Millennium subway stations. Decoration in the hotel was clean and modern (both the room and the reception and bar area). Bed was exceptionally comfortable, the first time I have ever said that about a hotel bed, with the rest of the room feeling very clean. Staff were always incredibly helpful and communicative about things.

Nothing major at all, however, if I am to be honest/picky - the water pressure in the shower was pretty low, there was an annoying clicking noise in the ceiling that would start randomly on some nights in the middle of the night. Also, walls were thin and the young girls who were out partying coming back at 3am and shouting and walking round in there heels was annoying, as were the sirens - but it’s a city so you expect it!
