The location was good for the Chicago theater..was going to the Gerald Porter Concert

I didn't like all the hidden fees.went to the roof top all seat was reserved...a glass of water took a few pictures of the skyline ..and went back to my toom when checking out a fee of 62.00 dollars was added.I felt like they should had told me.I didn't have a seat ...

My sister & I loved the staff. Everyone was very friendly & welcoming. We loved the complimentary water at the front desk. We enjoyed The Rooftop Bar. The hotel decor was beautiful. I would definitely stay at The Wit again. The Wit is conveniently located to everything.

When housekeeping cleaned the room, they forgot to leave a replacement roll of toilet paper. The roll was low... there should have been a replacement roll! We eventually received our replacement roll after calling the front desk.

We went to Chicago to see Wicked, and TheWit was in a perfect spot to make a nice weekend. The only issue we had was upon arrival...there was to be a parade that night...so we had to park down by Trump Tower...which wasn't a huge deal. We walked to the hotel, and enjoyed the parade that night. If we had arrived a half hour later, we would of really had to figure out a better plan...as the hotel check in said they most likely would of had that entire street shut down. Luckily we arrived in time to avoid that...not being from the city...we still managed it all just fine. The room was quiet and comfy. Room service was good. We especially enjoyed dessert! Friendly staff and the perfect location for our needs.

The sign on the front of the hotel needs to be lit up brighter...we drove right past it at first...neon pink or something...lol! We loved our stay!

We loved the room size, view, comfortable bed and location closed to the River walk and several good restaurants. Grant Park and Millenium park is also easily walkable.

Check-in was a bear, we had to wait so long due to computer problems. We also did not like that the bathroom did not have enough towel racks or hooks. There was only one small hook, not enough especially that housekeeping services were only upon request. We were on the 14th floor and we can still hear that train, it did not bother us much but may bother very light sleepers.

Where do we begin with this stay. It was an absolute delight from start to finish. The welcome and conversation at the reception desk upon check in was fantastic, we were given bottles of water to take with us up to the room which we loved, next came the recommendations of bars or where to eat. We opened the door to our room and it was pretty mind blowing, the space, the size, the views, cleanliness, simply put 10/10.

Location is top, Rooftop is cool, Rooms are spaciuos and Service is great - definitely recommendable

we booked breakfast included - unfortunately it did not say anywhere that this would be 20USD per person.

I loved the comfort, the view Only stayed 1 night Only issue was that on the night shift at around 11:30pm.. I made 2 calls to guest services requesting a blanket be delivered to my room. I WAS TOLD TWICE , one was being delivered & that someone was on the way... IT NEVER HAPPENED. THIS WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING

It was just that one incident that Idid not like.

Great central location with amazing rooftop cocktail bar. Expensive hotel by my standards but worth it as you can walk to the Blue Line and hop on the train to Chicago O'Hare Airport and be there in 45 minutes.

A pool would have been nice but you can't have it all

Everything was very nice, clean, and spacious. We had room service and our food was delivered faster than expected and it was delicious. We also went to the rooftop bar and that was a good time, everyone was friendly and the drinks were good.

Pillows were too soft, but that’s subjective. There wasn’t free Wi-Fi, but I’ve never stayed in downtown chicago so that may not be the standard operating procedure. The room temp was a little warm for my liking and it wouldn’t adjust. Maybe I should have turned it off completely

David - the guy at the front desk - made us feel very welcomed and valued. I also very much appreciated the quietness of the room as well as the mattresses - very comfortable! Additionally, the location of the hotel is perfect, and close to everything.

The lady at the front desk - did not catch her name- was very unfriendly and should not be customer facing with her unprofessional attitude. Especially not if she is the first interaction customers have upon arrival. Luckily David took over as soon as he came in.
