Your staff is not only not trained to tell the correct information which is quite frustrating when they are the "information desk" but quite selective over whom they choose to give discounts to when there pool was shut down a majority of the time when that is what we had came for but it was shut down because there was glass in the hot tub that my husband had stepped on and cut his foot open, we were told by staff that took our room number down we would be compensated and when we spoke with staff in the morning the gentleman basically called us liars and offered us 40$ off our room ,wow what a joke this place is next time my husband will just take the expensive ambulance ride and sue back

Had to use a voucher for breakfast, so you could overspend easily. Not a typical hotel breakfast experience. Food wasn't different or better than other HIs, but you had to be served and got less. Info on booking.Com was all out of date and incorrect. Deposit was less than expected but still seemed superfluous. Had to sign a "no party" agreement standing in front of a banner for venue rental :) wasn't gonna have a party but no one wants to be told they'll be removed without refund up front when you've driven 12 hours.

second time staying this hotel visiting family in Elgin. Hotel is in a great location，with a great Benegan’s bar on the first floor. staff is super friendly and helpful. David at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. we will be staying here again when we are back in Elgin again.

Great hotel for my business trip. Clean, everything in good shape.

My only issue was the attitude of the man at checkout when I pointed out a substantial charge by the hotel on my incidental card. He was unwilling to look into it, but then promised to talk to "someone", but never got back to me.It was a shame because the rest of the staff was above and beyond nice and professional.

Staff had left all bathroom lights on and cleaning bottle in room, we could tell it was a bit of a rush job to get the room ready.

I was on crutches and the staff from every direction offered to get a wheelchair whenever they saw me, it was such a great gesture and they made me feel seen and was more than willing to help!

The ac in our room did not work so they moved us to another room right away . Very clean kids loved the pool . Great location easy access to all major interstates

I didn't get breakfast with my room! Why booking.com? I always do anywhere else. He,said my,room didn't include it! For the price I paid, it should have been included!

The room was very clean and staff was very friendly and attentive. The pool and hot tub were great also!

The thermostat in the room did not change the room temperature at all, so it was a little warm for my taste in the room at night. Otherwise, we had a fantastic stay!

Very quiet. Nice place and well maintained.

The shower head needed work. Didn't stay upright... but it was removable, so it wasn't the end of the world for sure.
