This hotel in in an awesome location with everything being nearby. From the coffee shops to the gas stations and restaurants. It was awesome to see how I was walking distance from these places. The pool was awesome too. Got to refresh myself in there a couple of times. The breakfast was awesome. Shout out to the lady running it all, it was nice and clean and she always had it filled with freshly cooked food!

If anything, I would have to be picky to say stuff I didn’t like. I liked everything! The only thing I could probably think of that I didn’t like is that my pillow wasn’t as comfortable. I wish they had housekeeping as other hotels I have been too. Other than that, that’s not really much of an issue because the stay was great.

They have an excellent setup when traveling with a dog. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast included many options that were nicely presented. Our room was near the pool and appeared to have been recently updated. Some of the other reviews were nitpicking in my opinion. Ok, there were a couple of chips in the tub coating. Big whoop. The shower worked great. I don't think it's reasonable to expect a hotel to keep the room carpet spotless when people clomp around in filthy shoes. I bet they don't do that in their own house. The room, carpet, and bathroom were at least as clean as our house and perfectly acceptable. Cleaning staff have a lot of work to do and must do it quickly. Realize that many people are absolute pigs in a hotel room. There's only a few hours between checkouts and new people checking in. Might they miss something occasionally? Of course. They're human. Might there be a bug in a room occasionally. Yes. Most folks will find a bug in their house a few times a year too. If you're so delicate that a bug sends you to a therapist, your life must be pretty challenging. If there's a problem, contact the front desk.

For the price, you can't beat this hotel.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Good location and quiet. The Breakfast had a variety to choose from like scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes. Waffles, cereal, juice, coffee and tea. The pool was nice.

The elevator seemed a little ify at times. Made strange noise and a bump right when you reached your floor. Just a minor concern.

Check out was awful. I was told that I get email receipt but didn't. When I called to request one the person I talked with said his name was Patrick was awful, just rude. When I told him didn't have to speak to me like that Patrick reply you got your receipt check your email and hung up.

There was a good variety of breakfast items. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was clean and quiet.

Just a suggestion: My husband is dairy free, gluten free so it would be nice if there could be hard boiled eggs or something he could have for breakfast.

the desk person was rude

We liked everything about our stay except one thing.

And that one thing was the front desk staff. They were rude and dismissive. I am a very easy to get along with person, and I know that there is a certain amount of rudeness that comes with Chicago, but this was uncalled for and they need to be retrained about how to be courteous to customers who are paying money to stay at the place where they work. Next time I will stay at a bed and breakfast and I'm quite sure I will be welcomed and spoken to with respect.

Very clean, very nice staff, comfortable space and the work space because i am a remote worker. Close to amazing restaurants and shopping.

They let us check in a little early. They had a full breakfast every day.

The towels are basically rags. They are thin and hard. The place is clean, not sparkling, but nothing offensive. Buffet for breakfast was pretty good. They had sausage every day. Would have been nice if they had alternated bacon. We were there 6 nights. The location was great for us visiting family and friends. The pool could use more upkeep was always cloudy. There were two large groups of people staying at the hotel that would gather in the hallway on the first floor right by our room. We finally asked the group to move into a lounge or conference room as they were very loud. Nobody from the front desk bothered to move them even though they were right down the hall.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

I would have liked Daily Housekeeping, but I understood the reason why they are not yet having that service.
