MainStay Suites Chicago Hoffman Estates

The staff, the kitchenette and the location even though I still had to drive an hour to work everybody to McHenry Illinois wish it was one closer to McHenry. After doing a 12-16 hour shift at work, then driving to the hotel, I still have to eat, shower and get stuff ready for my next 12-16 hour shift I only get about 2-3 hours of sleep. Plus, the snow weather has me leaving extra early. Other than that I love the place. And oh yeah the prices are super reasonable for my stipend budget

I had to get my hotel keys swiped almost everyday.

The kitchen in my room is very convenient as a traveling Essential Worker on contract away from home and having my 13 year old son with me. The staff are all very nice and respectful

The halls smelled a little but not enough to actually run you away and we were put in a handicap room so we didn't have a counter top in our bathroom for our personal things to sit on so they had to stay in our suite cases other than that everything is great. I'm here until February 28

The accommodations were convenient, clean, and comfortable. Friendly staff.

We requested and we’re staying in a non-smoking room. Outside, and directly in front of our main floor room, was a bench and ash tray for smokers. With our air conditioning unit running, smoke could be smelled inside our room. We would recommend moving the smoking location further away from such air conditioning units and the front entrance. A sign indicated no smoking within 15 feet of the entrance, however, several times when entering the building smoking was definitely detected.

There is nk breakfast due to Covid. I would have appreaciated a basic packed breakfast. Also, no room cleaning.

Great Stay, wondeful location. The room was just what we wanted. Staff was friendly & helpful.

Very nice staff, pretty clean. Nothing crazy, but still really clean. Staff was very helpful when something was needed. Laundry was clean, hallways did not smell weird(like other places) and was also very clean. I was very comfortable there and I will definitely return.

Elevator broke for a day or two. But it was fixed first thing Monday morning. I assume they couldn't get to it because it was weekend. But nothing else, my stay was still very exceptional.

I stayed at the Super 8 in Crystal Lake and There was a Gun shot 5ft outside my door! I had to give the Police my information 4''s in 5 days! Talked to the Manager about my and the other guests SAFETY, Response was it's not my problem!!!!!!! That's when I switched to Mainstays and couldn't be happier!!! Jay and the staff have been superb to say the least. More than accommodating and Super Professional! Grade:A

It was nice and clean the room was very comfortable and I loved that it had a refrigerator where I could put stuff in to keep cold and food to put in there to cook and I also liked that it had a kitchen with a stove top so that I could cook my own food and a dish washer and dishes to use and cook in also

Is that I had to sit outside in the cold cause someone had cooked something and set off the smoke alarm cause they brunt something so I would say they need better Ventilation in the rooms in the cooking area

The almost hour drive to my assigned work site especially when the weather gets bad

The corner unit was nice because I was away from the noise of the front door/ front desk. We stay in suite with a bedroom. It was 700 sq feet of space. My daughter used the pull out couch. We had a nice big table, decent size kitchen. We were there two weeks.

Road noise, because it was close to the highway.

good location for our purposes. suited our stay.

missing glasses and had a huge dip in the floor. door was very difficult to open.
