Motel 6-Villa Park, IL - Chicago West

I have not had breakfast inside of the hotel but there is a fantastic restaurant Simon's right next door. Excellent for anything your heart desires food wise. I appreciate the staff for they are truly good quality folks! The housekeeping is A1! Location is close to downtown. Upkeep is great. My experience here has caused me to remain for the rest of my stay in Chicago. I will always stay at this hotel when I am in the Chi!

There was nothing I didn't like. I just believe each room would be more enhanced if they all had mini refrigerators and microwaves like the Extended Stay Hotel Chains around the world.

They used to only charge $249.00 a week. Motel 6's location is in Villa Park is real convenient for me. I can not always get a room down the street at Highland Avenue.

I do not like the price at Motel 6 when it is higher than $69.00 a night.

Pretty much everything. Have stayed in quite a few Motel 6's and this was definitely one of the best. So much so, that we canceled at another motel to come back to this one. Extremely friendly staff, big clean, room. Beds were comfortable.

A bit long of a walk to the room from the car. I have a bad knee and it was a bit far. Also, it would be wonderful if they could put blinds on the window under the curtain to let in daylight.

I liked how welcoming the woman attending the front desk was. I also liked how patient she was with my boyfriend not having all of his credentials on his person upon checking in. I also enjoyed how there was fresh ice in the vending machine as I'd experienced it being empty several times before.

The pillows could be a bit fluffier. They were just thin and flat.

The place is under construction at the moment and because there really isn't an ideal time to make the improvements that are being made, one should extend a little mercy in assessing this work in progress because ultimately it will have great results. Seema and Dee are very nice.

The best breakfast in Villa Park is Simon's Restaurant next door! The coffee in the lobby made by Ms. ROBIN is too good! The entire staff is wonderful from the manager to front desk to housekeeping!!! I love this place!

All rooms should have a small fridge and microwave! This is the only suggestion I have for this hotel!

I loved how well the grounds were kept. I also liked the setup of the rooms and the openness of the property.

The other guests! Ugh! I probably won't go back due to the ghetto-ness of the other clients. As we walked to our room from our car, there was someone, very comfortably, smoking marijuana in the parking lot. As we left, there were two men who were walking with two bottles of Hennessy in there arms which wouldn't have been an issue but they already had red cups with "something" in it and more people than I could imagine fitting in a room. Just by the looks of everything, I was glad I was leaving. If you go at night, stay in your room until daylight.

Ms. Robin is the absolute best. She has been the most helpful and accommodating person I've dealt with in a long time. She is just great. All love for Ms. Robin

I have stayed here a few times; it is the best place overall for what I pay. The staff are polite and attentive. The rooms are always clean, no problems with TV or wifi, and I never hear noise from neighbors.

Occasionally I find a few stains or hair in the towels, and sometimes the water supply/drainage is slow. Also no facial tissue provided. But these are minor inconveniences to me.

My receptionist Ms.Robin was amazing, she's always sweet though, umm honestly I meant to give a review at least over a month ago, schedule has been crazy, the staff is also great never had an issue, and if you did have a problem and you explain it properly, it will be taken care of propely.
