It’s the perfect little weekend getaway if you wanna stay close to the city, but not deal with the city. The grounds were beautifully kept! We brought our bulldog with us, and the covered walkway around the lake was perfect to shade us from the sun. The pool facilities were perfect. Spa, steam room, showers, and pool were all connected and easily accessible. Carlton was the nicest, most professional front desk concierge I have ever encountered. He accommodated all of our needs and made us feel very welcomed. The rooms were nice and clean and at an appropriate temp upon arrival. All in all, this hotel had everything I could possibly need. it is a 5 star accommodation for a 4 star price. We will be patronizing this hotel more often in the future.

The hotel was very nice and clean. I didn't eat at the restaurants, however, the SPA and exercise room were very nice. Carlton, and Ulani were very helpful and attentive. Carlton took the time to make sure my first time there was very welcoming and comfortable. He helped with any and every concern or question I had. Ulani has a smile that brightens up your day, and she is very patient and attentive. They both deserve raises.

The parking is extremely too far. The floors had hair on them in the bathroom, which is very nasty to me once you get out of a clean shower.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was so nice.

We were a little frustrated because we paid for the valet (we had quite a bit of stuff to carry and I have a really bad back), and when we left in the morning, the valet wasn’t there so we had to go to the main lot and get the car. It sounds silly and Karen-ish but you pay for a service, you expect that service to be rendered the one time you need it. Also, I wasn’t aware there was a prom there that weekend, so that was not a fun surprise (that wasn’t anyone’s fault though). It was very crowded, but that’s my own personal issue.

Beautiful location! The only staff I interacted with were at the front desk but they were very nice and helpful. The room was very nice and the bed was super comfy. Shower was a good size and had good water pressure

There were events happening the first night we were there and they were up partying loudly til around 1 AM. We didn’t complain because one of the events was a prom and we figured it’d be over by one. I’m pretty sure I overheard staff asking them to quiet down after 12.

Breakfast was wonderful and the wait staff was extremely helpful. The food that I ordered was perfect every time. My nephew's wedding that was at the hotel was wonderful. The accommodations couldn't have been better. The pool area was of particular interest and enjoyed every day of my stay. Davita (not sure of the spelling) was in charge of my room (C-44) and was stellar, I felt very spoiled by the excellent service.

On my last 2 nights the next room over had their tv on all night at a pretty high volume (it kept me awake, it was so loud).

When booking with breakfast option Via booking.con, voucher for American breakfast is given and does not include other breakfast items. This is not mentioned in the booking.com app. It would be good to have a standardised voucher for bookings booked with breakfast.

The location was a big plus ,the pool was big enough for us to have our own little space and so was the hot tub ,our room let out to a walk path so our view was a nice foresty area ,if you like exploring there was plenty of walk paths to venture of into the forest ,the room itself was quite spacious ,most importantly i was able to get early check in which is always nice

Unfortunately for us we weren't too fond of the bed even though it was a nice king bed it was not soft enough which gave me a few back problems

Super clean staff was nice & very helpful. The hotel lights at night are amazing and so pretty sitting by the pond and watching the ducks. They having a great walkway for a night stroll.

The walk from the parking lot to the entrance is far and kinda got lost inside the hotel. lol

Very nice facility. Comfortable, clean and close to business and downtown Chicago.

A quite vibe. Little too much retreat like. But that's the environment they enjoy. Beautiful grounds and walking trails. Very pretty setting. But if you were looking for an energized vibe don't be surprised by the posted quite time from 10:00....yes! 10:00pm to 7:00am. To my point. Work retreat but don't think party time.

The walking trails and the beautiful property. It was so convenient to Chicago but felt like a relaxing getaway. The pool was great and not too cold. The staff were friendly and very nice.

The pool was challenging to get to with a wheelchair.
