good breakfast

Big issue with my Booking.com reservation not having gone through to the hotel. They had no reservation for me in their system. So I had to essentially be treated as a walk-in. Hotel told me this happens all the time with booking.com. So I Called Booking.com and the onus is now on me to provide the receipt for the one night stay so that I am not charged twice. Which I can do but then I am asking myself what is the point of using booking.com them surely the onus is booking.com to resolve this directly with the hotel ?.

Location is great, especially if visiting the University. There are plenty of places to eat around there. The room was nice . Overall good place to stay

I wish the breakfast was slightly different every day. The person who checked me in in the middle of the night was Not very friendly. He did not welcome us or smile probably because we arrived around 2 am at night. They asked us to come down to pick up extra towels blankets etc. They did not have the staff to do that

Clean, comfortable, great location, friendly staff, good breakfast, easily accessible parking garage. Easily one of the best hotels we've stayed in. The hotel had a very modern feel to it, the staff was available and answered all my question, breakfast was hot and there were plenty of options, pool area was clean and a good size. We truly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!

Paying to park in the parking garage. There's no where else to park when staying at this hotel. It would be nice to offer free parking in the garage as a hotel guest.

Great value, clean & spacious room, amazing staff & offered so much... Breakfast was amazing, pool clean, Starbucks & Bar on site a huge plus! The staff was outstanding.... Especially Nicholas! 🩵

Would have liked a microwave in the room & the bathroom doors lock was removed so traveling with 3 other people was a little weird lol. And there was no exhaust fan in bathroom. Not life or death, just small things I would have liked.

Pros: fantastic location right on Kirkwood, easy walk anywhere in downtown Bloomington or to campus; friendly staff; hotel was clean, comfortable, easy to navigate (including parking); rooms are large, beds are comfy, had a minifridge; breakfast was decent enough given it's free (just have to get there early enough)

Cons: very humid and warm in the room (took a while to cool off but it was still oddly humid, and we could not control the fan level of the thermostat [it was over 90 with a ton of humidity that week as well]); parking is expensive; breakfast runs out by 9am on the weekend (goes much longer though, coffee was completely gone by 9, food was picked over by 830, not sure if they were just unprepared for the number of guests)

I’ve stayed here before and really like the convenient location. It’s within walking distance to many restaurants and bars, but away from the load crowds closer to campus. I really like the decor of rooms with the separate seating area - so much nicer to watch tv than just sitting on the bed. The breakfast area is large so there is room for singles or groups, and there is seating outside when the weather is good (I do wish breakfast did not stop serving at 9am; by 8:30 the pickings were very slim, so you need to get there no later than 8am if you want a good selection.)

The seat cushions on the sofa-sleeper had quite a few stains on them (something I don’t remember from past visits). I used the flat sheet meant for the fold-out sofa-sleeper to cover the cushions so they could be sat on. I think $16 per night for parking is high - I think that must have gone up since my last stay. Finally, I stayed there 3 nights and my room was never refreshed - maybe that’s the new procedure due to Covid-19, but if so, it would have been nice to know about it at the beginning of my stay.

This is the second time we stay here Location is good

We stay for seven nights, and the hotel only does once room cleaning after asking for many many times. Some clerks are nice, but the one named “Mahogany ” was quite rude. We saw her many times neglect the ringing phone. She didn't help at all when we asked for room cleaning. There is no laundry machine, and we are told to do it at Hilton. However, Hilton told us they didn't cooperate now.

Location is great for visiting IU. Also close to restaurants, cafes, shops. Lobby is nice with breakfast and a bar for evenings. Rooms are a little tired, not quite up to a typical Hyatt experience, but location and service make up for it.

The rooms are a little old/tired. Carpet and bathrooms could be updated.

Almost everything. From the location, the staff, the cleaning service and so on. This hotel has been recommended to me by a colleague and I will recommend it to other colleagues because it was a really nice stay for me.

More variation at the breakfast buffet. The breakfast was good and freshly cooked every morning. But everyday the same food has been offered.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and in good condition.

Having to pay $16 a day for parking. As a guest of the hotel the parking should have been included. Also, signs in the parking garage indicated the hotel validated the parking for guests, yet I was charged on my room bill. The breakfast was OK, but the same eggs, greasy sausage, and potatoes every day was a little disappointing. The fruit was good.
