Great location within walking distance of downtown Nashville. Overall, property was clean and well maintained. A lot of unexpected "bonus" activities on the premises for kids (covered pool, playground with pirate ship, volleyball court, cornhole, horsehoe pit, miniature golf course, shuffleboard). Rooms were homey overall and included small covered porches with seating. The variety and quality of food at the onsite restaurant and bar was pretty good and reasonably priced, especially for kids.

Only a couple minor things. One of the rooms we rented smelled like it had previously been inhabited by an old man who liked to smoke a pipe...but we were able to get an air dehumidier from the front desk which cut the smell down to a point it didn't bother us and also really cut down the room humidity. One of the bathroom sinks was partially clogged but would eventually drain.

Our room was spacious and clean. We loved the location and the restaurant, putt-putt golf, and floral garden. There were many other fun things to do as well. We enjoyed strolling the grounds and were able to take our time and some good photos.

As for the bed, our backs are not used to a hard bed and we were in pain during the night and the following day. If you need a hard bed then this is the place for you. We needed to take Tylenol through our stay. Also, breakfast is not included and costly. We purchased our own food for breakfast at a local store and it was a fraction of the cost.

My daughters and I spent a holiday weekend here. We loved that there was a walking path that lead into town so we didn't have to drive and try to find parking. We loved that the Inn offered so many activities on site such as mini golf, volleyball court, tetherball, ect. Although we didn't use the pool it was a nice facility. Most hotel pool areas are hard to have conversations in because it echoes. With having garage doors that open you are able to enjoy the weather but still be in doors and have conversations. This facility is perfect for families, couples, or anyone who just wants to enjoy Nashville.

The only downfall I can say is that our room didn't have a refrigerator. And I believe that is common for the 2 bed queen rooms. So if this is important for you, make sure you book a room with one listed. This would be an added bonus since there are so many wine tastings. If you buy a bottle you have no way of keeping it cold to drink while staying there.

Friendly staff, quaint location, clean, convenient for a stay after a show at the brown county venue!

I love the rooms! The restaurant was amazing. Our room had a view of the parking lot, but with the curtains closed it was a nice getaway from the outside world.

I wish there was room service of some kind. But it was not a deal breaker as there was a convenience store close to the inn that has a lot of options. Room also did not come with a microwave. The TV was not connected to the internet. These things would just enhance an already great hotel. Also we wish there was a security bar for the sliding windows.

Great location. Room was clean and well prepared. Inn staff were helpful and available. Inn is close to state park, walkable distance to Nashville. Very good selection at the breakfast buffet. Pam, the gardener is awesome, and she does a great job with the garden area. I can't wait to get back and see the gardens in the summer when they are in full bloom! Nice paved walkway behind the Inn over to town of Nashville and along the creek.

Beds were not comfortable for me, but I realize this is subjective. I am a recently retired, lighter weight side sleeper. The pool was dominated by boisterous, young, across-the-pool ball-throwers. Not surprising, since it was a weekend during the school Fall break season and kids will be kids; it was great to see families doing things together. In spite of that, the pool was great after a day of hiking in the state park, and I was able to swim comfortably as long as I watched for errant throws!

Great location for music center and shopping. Loved the creek path to walk into town and the shuttle to the music center. Enjoyed the live music in the bar.

Room are a bit dated although they are clean and comfortable. Pool opened at 8 am. When I went to swim laps at 8 am before all the kids got in the pool, the maintenance person was cleaning it and said it would be open before noon. Well, my schedule did not allow this. He should have been cleaning it earlier (before it opened) so it was ready at 8 am.

We enjoyed the restaurant on site, food cost was low for portions provided. We caught a live band in the bar when we decided to go for a drink and some dessert. Rooms were comfy and beds were very relaxing!

In no way did we NOT like anything but we did have a few oh man, wish this was a little better moments. The 'heated' pool being one; it was still rather cool when we visited and the pool deck and water was a little on the chilly side. Also we called down Friday morning to ask what time the buffet stopped serving. We were told 11am so we went down a little after 9:30 to find they didn't even serve the buffet that day. :(

It was quiet and within walking distance of everything. The food at the restaurant was probably the best food out of the whole trip. The omelets were amazing, and the blueberry jam was "chef's kiss." The room was good, and the beds were comfortable. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly. This was a girl's trip, so we had no children but this is very child friendly and would stay with kids.

I think my only complaint would be that the first night the a.c. didn't seem to work properly, but after that, the nights were cooler, so it wasn't a big deal.

THE LOCATION IS SUPERB. THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE EVERYTHING IN REACH IS GREAT. RESTAURANT; POOL AND BAR. STORE IN CLOSE PROXIMITY. WE REALLY DO LIKE THIS INN AND WILL STAY HERE AGAIN IN THE FUTURE

WE KNOW THAT THIS IS AN OLDER FACILITY, BUT THEY SHOULD REALLY THINK ABOUT INVESTING IN MORE VENDING MACHINES THROUGHOUT THE INN, AND MIRCROWAVES AND REFRIGERATORS IN THE ROOMS. WE REALLY MISSED HAVING THOSE. NOW A DAYS; IT'S ESSENTIAL TO HAVE
