We are returning customers for Stoney Creek. The rooms are always huge and very cozy. We love the option of the hot tub in the room. Makes relaxing on vacation even better! The breakfast is delicious! Staff is friendly and lots of great nearby restaurants and places to go.

The breakfast area could use more seating, we had to eat in our room as there wasn’t anything open. The pillows were not the most comfortable and an extra blanket would’ve been great but minor complaints due to all of the good things we enjoyed.

Both the exterior and interior spaces were very clean and designed in a wonderful rustic theme The room was done likewise. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was a nice size as well. The breakfast held a nice surprise...French toast! I don't think I've ever seen this. Nice change from the typical waffles and now conveyor belt pancakes. There was also substantial places to walk your fur baby.

There is nothing furnished (either in the room or at the front desk) of restaurants/places that deliver. Some people don't utilize Doordash.etc. The pet fee is $25 per night rather than a one time fee. For those staying multiple nights, this really adds up.

Just like having the family to our home. We have not seen our sons and grandchildren since Covid started so this was the perfect place for a reunion. We stay here every time we come to Iowa because everyone loves the pool, the cozy rooms and the location. Loved pancake machine and other breakfast choices. Lots of places to walk the dog. Can walk to restaurants &movie theater. Will return soon.

We gathered in a back meeting area, with permission, for a family birthday party…cake and conversation. An unknown man came came by and told us to be sure and leave it clean for the church service the next morning. We planned on clearing our things away but we’re we to vacuum also.

The cleaning ladies were very polite and cheery!😊 The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable!

When I opened the conjoining room door the other side was open so I could see into the room next to us. I tried to pull their door shut but it wouldn’t latch so I just closed my door and made sure it was tight. Room 222

Fun, happy desk clerks make for a much better check in. They honored our ridiculous special request and we ALL had a good laugh over it. Jayme went above and beyond! We only spent about 5 minutes with her- but already love her! Comfy beds, spacious all that.

The breakfast was lacking, but I don’t eat breakfast anyway, so not really a big deal to me.

I am really blown away by the comfort of the bed and pillows. The bathrooms were VERY clean and teh showerhead was nice. The AC in the room was nice. We cant wait to come back with our children.

There was no AC in the hallways and it was very hot and humid, we stayed on the 3rd floor so I'm not sure if that was the case throughout the building it doesn't really maytter because we were only in the hallway for a short bit. The rooms were nice and cold :)

The woodsiest, most cabin-y place we stayed on the trip and it was in Des Moines? Anyway, great breakfast, nice room, looked like a nice pool though we didn’t use it.

Somehow I ended up with two bookings. Not sure how the cancellation didn’t go through but the front desk cancelled it when we arrived.

Everything was wonderful, this is the second time we have stayed. The pool is fun. You can go outside when it's too stuffy inside. The bed was comfortable. We were able to check in early, and the staff at check-in was very warm and welcoming.

I have no complaints!

Good location, good food at the on-site bar/restaurant, very personable staff, beautiful room, lobby, dining room, and grounds. Highly recommend!

Bathroom was dated and the vanity counter was small, the mattress was lumpy and the pillows were worn, but it was comfortable.

The room was a good size, with all the amenities I needed. Staff at the front desk was very friendly.

The hot tub in my room had hairs and stuff in the bottom of it. At 9 am, I was woken up by loud knocking on the door. I said who is it, and a man said it was maintenance and that he thought the room was empty. Not sure what that was about.
