Front Desk staff were amazing. Super friendly and made me feel welcome. The fenced in parking lot and needing a key to get through the front door past certain hours made me feel extra safe! I was there for work and it put me getting back to the hotel after midnight the first two nights I was there but I felt safe walking alone from my car to the hotel. There are a few sitting areas outside that were a pleasant surprise and there is a huge selection of food nearby to walk to or get delivered.

The only drawback was at night. The bridge going across the river is popular for motorcyclists at all hours of the night when the weather is nice and that was a minor nuisance. Could hear the revving of engines pretty clearly from the 4th floor. Absolutely nothing on the hotel itself, just the location.

Walking distance to a lot of things including the Reds stadium. Every one of the staff we came in contact with was always friendly. They had a problem at check in. Which rewarded us with a upgraded room. Even tho she was clearly upset and flustered, she stayed friendly and professional the whole time until she could get it figured out. The river view was great. We did not hear much noise from the other rooms.

The street noise was very loud. Could have been because we were down towards the bridge and every sports car decided they needed to gun it over the bridge. The door to the hallway slammed if you didn't catch it. Would have liked more options at breakfast but it was still good.

The hotel is still in a pristine condition, so everything is very clean and works well. The location would be great for a visit to the aquarium, or if you are willing to drive into Cincinnati or Covington for business you can save a pretty penny. Staffing was fine for post pandemic, but sparse.

Nothing that the hotel had done, but there is a ton of construction around the area which makes getting around more than a little difficult. Actually got backwards leaving because of the construction and ended up taking a forced scenic trip through the residential district of Newport.

Room was so spacious and the location of the hotel was so conveniently close to everything we had planned. (Side note on the room because it can extremely confusing while booking, we chose a king studio suite with city view and it was perfectly overlooking into cincy) We literally were able to walk across the bridge for the reds game, and walk to our riverboat tour! Coffee at breakfast was amazing! It was overall very peaceful and quiet and so accommodating as well as the staff

The breakfast was ok. We don’t eat meat and the omlers were stuffed with bits of ham (they did have waffles and oatmeal etc which were cool, but we would have loved to eat the eggs as well)

breakfast was good, and liked it was different not the same every day, the room was clean and room to move around and not on top of each other all the time, liked the table so we could draw or use computers or eat at a table, loved the walk in shower, the room was clean and extra towels when needed, close to a mall and in walking distance, We could walk to the aquarium, close travel to the zoo. Loved that you needed a card to work the elevators made us feel a little safer,

No hot chocolate in the room no booklet of places to visit or places to eat that deliver,

The customer service. Everyone from the front desk to the room cleaners were polite and so nice they would give you a sugar rush. The hotel was clean and nice, but what really made me feel comfortable coming back again is the staff. A plus.

This is a personal issue but I don't like continental breakfast. I doubt it goes anywhere but it's so cheap and tacky now, but it's better than nothing. The guy setting it up though was great. He was on top of everything.

The beds were super comfortable. Good security. Good location. Liked that we could access our Netflix account easily on the TV.

The breakfast was pretty bad. Expected something better than a Holiday Inn Express. Didn't like that there was no dresser in the room, just three wire frame drawers. Also didn't like the sliding door where you could either get into the bathroom or the closet but not both.

Lovely room, very clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good with lots of selection. It was fresh and topped up as required. I didn't ask for free parking, it was included in price of my stay (I believe). I asked for an early check-in but was unable to be accommodated, however I was able to have a late check out which was more beneficial in the end. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

I thought the price was a bit high.

It was very clean and comfortable beds and the location near the aquarium was great! We got in after 1am and check out at 11am so can't say alot about any of the other aspects of the facilities here! It is also a secure facility..meaning after a certain time of night you have to have a key card to even get in the front door! The gentleman who called and confirmed my reservation was an absolute gem!! I had to call back & check on something & he was knowledgeable & kind & even a bit funny!!

When trying to check in the lady at first told my husband she didn't have us there..then she finally found us & she insisted on me coming in and showing my ID to confirm because she said his name wasn't on the booking..which it CLEARLY was.. it was his name on the credit card why wouldn't I put his name on the booking??!!..so I go in & show her our booking reservation & that it in fact did have his name on it she said she still needed my ID to confirm so I get it out and she never even looked at it..but it was late..we were tired..I should've been more patient with her..so I did make small talk with her while she was finishing up our check in & she was pleasant back to me!

Very clean room and facilities, staff was super friendly, breakfast was pretty good and changed a little each day. Loved the location right across bridge in Newport which felt much safer than downtown Cincinnati. Also it’s a 6 min walk to the Newport Aquarium from the hotel. One highlight was the hotel gym has a Peloton which I rarely see at even 4-5 star hotels - an excellent perk!

Rooms a tad small but bathroom was decent size.
