absolutely beautiful and stylish! The restaurant, Josephine Estelle was excellent! The folks at the front desk were super nice.

Service at the two bars was unfriendly, did not clean up the spot we sat in and it took forever to get our drinks at 2 of 3 visits during our trip. There were several things wrong and not working in our room including the phone, the hot water on the sink and the stopper in the sink.

Great coffee shop, great staff, nice bar, perfect location for watching Mardi Gras parades. Rooftop pool is heated and kids loved that.

The nightclub on the first floor was loud and at night could hear music in room on second floor.

Beautiful design hotel with generous rooms and a great outlook. Location is out of the tourist hub but in close walking distance. Amenities on site with restaurant, bar, cafe and pool are great. We didn’t get to eat at the restaurant as they had a very limited menu the day we tried to go. People were lovely.

This hotel is out of the tourist hub, in the business district so can feel unnerving walking the streets that feel very unfamiliar. The hotel takes a hold on your card of 200USD for incidentals. This is fine however we weren’t told so we were shocked to see we had been charged more than our booking. In future I would advise the hotel to tell people this when checking in. With the price and level of this hotel, I would expect a breakfast offering to be included.

The vibe at the Ace hotel was comfortable, and friendly, and funky. I loved it. My friends who stayed at a big box hotel were so jealous I was at The Ace! All of the Lyft drivers I rode with all weekend raved about the Ace and thought it was cool I was staying there. It has a great reputation amongst the locals as a wonderful place to stay. The roof top bar and pool are beautiful and the staff couldn't be nicer more accommodating or welcoming. Ooh, and the bartender makes a delicious Sazerac!

Two of the three elevators weren't working, but even that wasn't enough to spoil my stay!

The Ace Hotel was a trip saver after we’d booked another hotel in a different part of town, which was a nightmare. After cancelling our other hotel, we arrived at Ace in the morning expecting to have to waiting around for check-in but our room was ready and we’d been given an upgrade (much needed after no sleep at the previous place!). The staff were amazing, organised and recommended a lot for us to do. The hotel is beautiful and great facilities, beautiful rooms too, air con worked great (I’d seen some other reviews complaining about this) and we stayed in the July heatwave! Thanks Ace :)

Sadly the hotel didn’t inform us that the rooftop pool was closed on our last full day (it was too hot to be walking downtown!) but they did make up for this with a comp late checkout to make use of the pool the following morning though!

I stay in the Ace anytime I go to NOLA because I love the vibe and they let me bring my dog. I have a Cane Corso. He's a guard dog that weighs a bit over 100 lbs! Not only do they not bat an eye, they are all friends with him before we leave. This particular visit, I was with a new girlfriend who had never been there. I told them in a message and asked for a nicer room if they had one that stood out. When I arrived, not only did they upgrade me, Sarah, the front desk manager upgraded my upgrade!!! This hotel ROCKS and the staff is amazing! Our room was a corner suite and it was GIANT and had amazing windows all the way around both sides. Loved it!! Loved all the common spaces and the vibe of the hotel. The pool was clean, the bar was quick with drinks, and the cushions were so smart with how hot the stone got! The plants made the space beautiful and from a conservationist standpoint, is a fantastic way to help cities fight climate change.

Our toilet wouldn't flush completely unless you held the handle down until the flush was complete, the beds were not all that comfortable, and the AC did not get the room as cool and we hoped for.

The Ace Hotel is an entire vibe! The property offers so much that you really don’t need to leave the hotel for anything. Restaurant, coffee shop, music venue and a rooftop pool with a restaurant and bar. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and there was a full-size fridge in my room. In addition to all of this, the hotel is in a perfect location. It’s walking distance to great restaurants & bars, a supermarket, and shopping. Also, the street car runs directly in front of the hotel. Sure the rooms are a little pricey compared to other downtown hotels, but the amenities and overall experience are well worth what you pay for. Oh…and let’s not forget the superb customer service. I had an issue with charges due to booking with a 3rd party, and the lady at the front desk fixed the issue right away. Stay at the Ace…you won’t regret it.

The AC in my room only went down to 70. I’m sure that’s fine for most people, but it’s southern Louisiana in the summer.

location boutique style hotel decor was amazing the bell captain was amazing- he greeted us each day always polite/ respectful/ friendly/ high energy!! Loved him!! Ladies at front desk.. wonderful!!

bed was very uncomfortable maid staff didn’t service room but once over 5 days it was a busy period- but we were gone during the day and came back late at night: our room not serviced ( trash out/ new towels, etc)

The location was good, just a short walk to wherever you want to go in the city. The hotel had a coffee shop and a nice comfortable lobby bar. the staff was also super nice.

The only issue we had was the room was not comfortable. we stayed in a double room and it just felt cold. It wasn’t a warm and inviting room. The beds were also not that great. We also only saw housekeeping once, maybe it’s a Covid thing, but had to ask for towels twice.
