location, funkiness,

The late night staff did not assist or take an interest in helping me locate an uber order that was suppose to have been dropped off At the front desk. Front desk person had no interest in discussing my frustration to look for my food delivery. Also, a stained pink/red pillowcase was on my pillow. I left the pillow w pillowcase outside front door. Would have been nice if a note was made to deliver another pillow with a clean pillowcase.

I’ve traveled around the world and stayed in 5 star, luxury hotels and I can honestly say, this property was one of my most favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The bedroom has beautiful, solid wood, French doors that close to give a cozy and cool sleeping area. There are also black out curtains to allow for a sleep in Saturday morning on a hot summer day, while the room stays dark and cold. A great sleeping experience. The property also has a roof top bar/restaurant to start and end your holiday in the best way. If you’re visiting N. O. for the first time, this area, the Warehouse District, is 5 minutes away from the French Quarter, yet it is perfect area to explore the beauty of this neighborhood with great restaurants and breakfast spots. I’ve def told other travelers to stay here- it’s quite the special find.

Really lovely room. Comfortable bed, great TV, lovely bathroom. Fully stocked mini bar on arrival. Nice and quiet when we slept - although location is good so that you can walk to main tourist areas. We didn't get to use the rooftop bar/pool as there was lightning but we used the downstairs bar which was nice. It was very hot when we stayed and the hotel provided ice cold tap and bottled water at all times which was a nice touch.

Housekeeping came at 9:30 whilst we were still getting ready for the day. We said we would be 30 minutes till we went out and they said they would come back, but when we came back to the hotel at 4:30-5:00ish, it still hadn't been done and they literally turned up a few minutes after we got back. We said don't worry about doing it. Not a huge deal though, just a little thing.

We loved the funky feel of the hotel - the teenagers loved it too which is a big bonus. Great valet service and welcome at the front desk. The rooms are really well appointed and very comfortable. I could write a novel about the lighting system - but won't - suffice to say it works well. The whole room is small but perfectly formed with everything you could need. The restaurant was also great.

The pool is good but not great for little ones - it feels very like a bar pool and doesn't open until 10am. Generally, though this was a great place for teens - because its very instagramable and cool - it isn't ideal for a younger family. The vibe is young and trendy, the bar is unavoidable and the library cafe, where you can breakfast, feels like it is in the bar on a Sunday - there is a bottomless brunch going on. Really it is only for snacks - it feels a little like you are in the lobby of a really happening hotel - which is cool but may not be great with younger kids. There are plenty of places to eat nearby though.

The property was amazing! The location was convenient and not congested. The last night/day of your stay, they were able to store your/our luggage for last minute sightseeing. As well as, holding our/your vehicle until 3pm, after 3pm it will re-charge the $48 fee. Which was very helpful and convenient!

The only issue, was the cleaning service. You can tell that they didn’t, thoroughly clean. the robes still had hair and small stains from previous travelers. The floors were a bit dirty but nothing to stress out about. The cleaning crew also threw away our valet tag to release our vehicle.

The hotel is clean, staff are always friendly and courteous, design is quirky and eclectic throughout. Location is quite central, within walking distance to most of downtown's attractions.

We used the hotel's valet service (only option) to park our car and paid for it. Two weeks after we checked out we received a parking charge from the company that owns the parking lot. We contacted Virgin has and they have still not resolved the issue. Unfortunately it's now been over a month and we have to pay the extra fees to the parking lot company, otherwise they will refer to collections. A complete failure on the part of the valet service and of Virgin. Beware of the valet service.

I loved the breakfast . Everyday it was a joy. The service matched the food.I looked forward to seeing my new friends that greeted us as if they had known us for years. But that being said , I thought the food was exceptional!I should know I have baked and cooked my entire life.

There could have been some sort of mixture made up by your chef that could be a conversation piece at the bar . Perhaps a trailmix type or nuts combined to offer to a guest at the bar downstairs. Cashews, macadamian nuts etc. just anything that makes this adventure all around taking care of the travelers that Grace your doors from the library into the bar area. Just a thought!🙉it could be free or a charge .

I liked the light and A/C control features in the room. Overall room had a good configuration to feel big. Lots of useful features in the room such as shoe stand. Good location in the central business district close to the St. Charles tram line that goes to the garden district. Great stuff, and cool decor.

Pool is really small for the size of that hotel. In fact it was used more like a place for people to sit in then to swim. The towel hook location for the the shower was not in the most convenient location.

Great location and gorgeous hotel. Love the efficient use of space in the king rooms- the separate toilet and shower ended up being great.

The size of the pool is misrepresented in the rooftop photos. It’s very very small- not possible to swim- only stand comfortably with maybe 5 people. Also the hotel sells day passes to the pool to people who aren’t staying at the hotel which makes even less room to enjoy the pool.

Good location for exploring warehouse district// easy access to French quarter & garden district. well connected. great room, comfortable bed, good gym, nice bar , cool building, nice rooftop bar/ pool. near lots of bars and restaurants, and easy to check out/ order things on the TV

pool a bit small and hard to get space- not enough sun loungers. air con in the room even when turned off supposedly, was still so so loud. room staff did bare minimum- ie changed the sheets (left rubbish/ didn’t hoover/ didn’t replenish)
