The ambiance and decor was awesome. Everything in the hotel is WWII themed. Even down to the music. The common areas, restaurants and rooms were all so clean and the beds were very comfortable. I ate all three dining options they have here. The food and drinks are incredible at all of them. Rosies on the roof is so cool! The Provisions cafe is like a mini coffee shop with pastries and small eats, all delicious. Café Normandie's breakfast is exceptional. The WWII museum and Higgins hotel together is like a small campus. You are right across the street from the museum, which is a remarkable experience in itself. I will always enjoy the constant state of patriotism I was in between both, highly recommend!

Parking is $50 a day, with what you pay for rooms, I expected parking to be included. The bars close at 10, I would have liked to see them open later.

It is located next to WW2 Museum with plenty of good restaurants around the corner. The location worked for me very well as it’s away from the busy main street and yet still close to Canal Street and Riverfront. The room is spacious and comfortable enough for 2 people. They also have a rooftop bar with a great view of the cityscape of NOLA perfect for sunset.

There were no complimentary dental kits available. The sliding bathroom door has a space that you’ll be seen enough by your companion from the outside.

We ate breakfast one morning and the food was excellent, and the service was wonderful. All of the staff we encountered was very helpful and pleasant. The rooftop bar was a very nice place to look over the city. We had a meal at Kilroy's one evening and again the food was really good. We had the beignets at the rooftop restaurant and they were better than the ones at Cafe Dumond (where we had been encouraged by many people to go).

Though we appreciated the security measures of using the room key to access the elevator, it was unexpected and it took us awhile to get used to using it. We did have some issues with our room key - two nights in a row, it would not work and maintenance had to be called to change the battery. After a long day, it was a little off putting to have to contact the front desk and wait (not a long wait) for maintenance to come and do the repair. The bathroom is huge so it would be nice to have a shelf or cabinet of some sort to place toiletry bags, etc since there is plenty of room.

The hotel is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! The location was perfect for us to walk to the convention center or easily order a Lyft. All of the staff were exceptionally nice, especially Chip, the bellman.

The bartender was a little rough the 1st night we were there, but the other nights the bartenders were way nicer, maybe he was just having a bad day.

Hotel is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and is the better option out of most hotels in the area. The area was nice and quiet, away from Bourbon Street however it's walkable like about 25 minutes. Hotel room was clean and staff was extremely accommodating. The food was delish at the hotel. Since my parents were picky about certain foods (gumbo, jambalaya, crawfish), it was nice to see a menu that they can order from. Cafe Normande closes early but Kilroys and Rosie's on the Roof are open till 10. All eateries were delish. I would definitely stay here in a heartbeat.

Nothing really. Everything was amazing.

this property was absolutely amazingly beautiful in many ways. The beds were exquisite! the marble details were stunning. The staff was nothing less than kind and courteous the whole stay. The cleanliness was 10 out of 10. My favorite part though has to be a tie between the fancy tablet in the room to operate the tv and order room service or the cute little toy army men randomly placed throughout the hotel.

I have not one single complaint.

Very spacious and clean, very nice staff. Excellent location. Easy parking in garage next door. Comfortable beds and good blackout curtains.

Only complaints were a flickering hall light (in our room) and a slow draining bathroom sink.

Location, cleanliness and design of hotel.

What I did not like were the $200 worth of added fee’s and taxes once I checked-in on-site. My original payment expectation was around $840 but once I checked-in to pay, my total came to be $1,000+. I think hidden fees like that are deceiving.

I had plenty of room, the shower was great.

Don't say that conservation is "intriguing" as a way to ask people not to throw their towels on the floor. Conservation is not intriguing, it's necessary. If you need to be positive about not requesting new towels each day, ask guests to be eco-heroes and reuse their towels.

The room was exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom too. The makeup mirror made it possible to get ready outside of the bathroom while others showered. Like that the room was not far from the elevators. And, appreciate the individual coffee maker and liquid creamer provided. The water bottles were a nice touch too. Wish the number of bottles matched or exceeded the number in the booking. The rooftop bar was a nice escape.

The coffee supplies were not replenished for day 2 although the room was well attended. Two very different experiences at the lobby bar. One evening the bartender was an exceptional young man from LSU - charming. The next evening, a different bartender and a trainee (?) talking with one of the waitresses from Rosie’s. When we approached the bar to order, felt as though we were intruding. A bad vibe as if there’s an internal struggle - may be just tough times for the city. Hate to see it with such an exceptional hotel.
