The location was perfect. It was near several eateries, a Comedy Store, a casino, street cars, coffee shop and a market.

1: There were no sheets left for the pullout couch bed. 2: The fan directly over the bedroom fan was dusty. 3: On Fri 7/14/23 around 12:35pm, I called 1-316-398-3557. A man with an accent HUNG UP ON ME because I could not provide him the zip code of the Mint House. Please check the recording from that day. 4: The auto-generated emails were an overkill making you think you had not completely checked in. 5: The door entry code was hidden toward the bottom of one of the several auto-generated emails. I had to call when I arrived because I didn’t think the door code was ever sent.

This is a nice apartment hotel near the French Quarter. Access was easy (same front door/room code) via keypads. The apartment itself is very spacious and nice. The converted loft space and building are fascinating. Excellent kitchen, a huge TV and plenty of space to get comfortable. The apartment is in a nice/safe part of town and we had no concerns about safety. There's plenty of food and shopping within a few blocks - Mothers is two blocks away and should cover every meal :). The bedroom in the 1-bedroom apartment is not on the outside wall so it does a good job of isolating you from the sounds on the street.

It's a bit of hike to the French Quarter, but only about 15 minutes or so. New Orleans is one of the noisiest cities on earth, so don't expect the room to be library-quiet. Street parking is limited in the area, but there's plenty of garages just around the corner. Expect to pay around $30 overnight for a garage. Don't expect views from the windows of anything other than old industrial buildings in this area. No TV in the bedroom if that's important, and the hot water seems to be random so shower fast.

Everything was fine except contact with property owner. Especially place organized on the roof.

Contact with property owner is not well organized. The payment rules were not in line with those posted on booking.com. Property owner require deposit that was paid by me few weeks before visit and returned before visiting the facility and was taken once again on the day of rental with two redundant attempts to collect the deposit, which were not successfully carried out due to limiting the funds on the bank account. Finally everything was OK, but I pay your attention on that because someone of you may simply block unplanned funds. I took it as an incident.

I'm not sure I'll ever stay in a regular hotel if there is an option like this available. This was the perfect situation for us. The photos in the ads look exactly like our apartment. It was a lovely experience as our family could relax and we had so much more time together to talk and catch up than if we were in separate hotel rooms. Everything was just perfect. Sharon helped us store our luggage the day we arrived and the day we left. Excellent experience.

The noise from the street was a little annoying. I'm not sure The Mint House could do much about that.

The space is trendy yet warm and welcoming. AC works great! Bed is comfy and shower is great. Walking distance from some great things. Love it!

The outdoor code box lock did not work very well. I witnessed 2 other guests struggling with it also.

This location was amazing! Just one block away from Mardi Gras parades, great restaurants and shopping. The space was modern and comfortable for our family of four.

The A/C in the bedroom seemed not to work the last day.

Everything, the kitchen was super nice and the bathroom was nice and clean.

We could hear the outside noise super loud in the bedroom, which made it hard to sleep.

Clean, modern, it had all necessary amenities, great location in safe area. Would highly recommend!
