Awesome atmosphere, colorful and happy place. Clean with a true N’awlins touch and people from all over. Great staff! Also close by the streetcar to take you within walking distance to whatever you would like to discover.

Honestly can’t think of anything we didn’t like

Good location halfway between the French quarter and the city park, right next to the streetcar lines on Canal Street. The staff was very helpful. Good value for money.

We had a private room which was spacious, groovy and had rustic good vibes. Shared facilities had everything we needed, plenty of showers and bathrooms to go round. Great range of outdoor hangout spaces. Pool was super nice in the heat. Overall felt very welcome and had plenty of opportunity to have our own time too. Also the hostel is just across from the tram so town is really accessible.

Some kitchen and bathroom towels would have been handy (like tee towels and bath mats).and maybe a freezer. Otherwise really good.

Super cool hostel, bohemian-chic vibe meets art-deco. Very laid back. Room was called "Chaos" in the Purple House. It was very clean, and mine came with bathroom attached (also spotless). There was also an above ground swimming pool, which I did not use. Generally helpful staff and front desk. Super location, right next to Canal Street and the tramways.

The air conditioners were set low and centrally operated. The room temperature occasionally became uncomfortably cold during the night.

It’s a great location for those traveling solo or even groups! They have both dormitories and private rooms which is nice for those not sure how to dabble in the hostel arena! But the staff were excellent super helpful even tho the kitchen was closed Rico was on the grill cooking for people one night! All the guests were super nice so it’s definitely an excellent option for those traveling in NOLA solo who might be looking to make some friends on the trip! Super comfy beds too couldn’t speak highly enough for the whole place (such a smart idea/concept on their part in NOLA too) probably won’t stay anywhere else when I’m back in the city!

All my life I've heard horror stories about hostels and never considered staying but was on my TO DO LIST. After I got my nerves up to stay...I'm NEVER staying at a hotel again! I love the friendly staff, people from around the globe and the property! It's a WHOLE VIBE!!!! I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! THANKS FOR ONE OF THE BEST BREAKFAST TACOS!!! 😁 ❤️

Although the weather wasn't permitting on this trip, but was for my last stay there I would like to experience a band and the pool up and running. Could have more double rooms without bunks just side by side twins See you soon!

Good vibe, great location, room clean

Some parts of property had stuff lying around. Some staff a little too open about their drug use. Needed washcloths Shower not working properly

A very particular place, with great atmosphere I'd say very representative of slow and relaxed lifestyle of New Orleans in general ;) The hostel.is in a quiet neighbourhood, approx 20 min from.thw Center by bus/streetcar. They have also an on-site ATM. A plenty of WiFi routers on the site. Checkout time 12::00 gives plenty of time for slow-morning kind of travellers. Free parking on the street in front of the hostel!

No complaints. The place has its own vibe and I loved it!

This Hostel for sure has been one of my favorites. The staff is super friendly and down to earth. There is so much shared living space inside and outside. There’s plenty of showers and bathrooms available, never had to wait and always kept clean. I visited solo for Jazz Fest so it was a busy weekend and the price was so affordable. The pool was a huge plus to hang out during the hot summer days. I had a private room, the AC was cold, and plenty of space for my bags. I had half a day after check out before my flight and they allowed me to store my bag while I went to explore the city some more. I would 100% return.

I had a great stay for one night in a private room. Location was great right by the street train to head into the historical center . We arrived at 1am after a long drive from Houston and the host was there and very friendly. Shower was nice and hot.

The room was a little cold as building is older and although there is a heater in the room , wish it was turned in before we arrived at night because it takes a long time to heat the room, just so it would have been a warmer sleep
