Clean, new, comfortable and modern; couldn’t be better. (Well maybe a larger vanity but gosh we’re traveling!) Staff great—kind and helpful. Secure off-street parking. Short (1.5 blocks) to streetcar into city—makes for easy in/out of town without driving.

No elevator, so if you’re on the 2nd floor you need to carry up your bags. Actually the staff, carried up our suitcases—so not really an issue. Confused on how to enter property. Parking lot has a gate that is accessed using a code that you get when you call after arriving; phone number listed on intercom. Not hard but I was a little confused at first. After that it’s easy.

This place is being renovated and has private gated parking lot. It gives me a hostel vibe. You have your own bed and bathroom w/ shower which looks new and clean. You could hear noise outside your room depend on your respectful neighbors. I didn't have noise troubles and I'm a quite person so I don't know if anyone can hear me. There is no Microwave or mini fridge at the time of my stay (I've read their amenities before booking). They do have a 700watt microwave and vending machine and complimentary water and kerug coffee maker. I suggest 1400 watt microwave so that it doesn't take 6-8 minutes to cook basic noodles. Also a fridge would be nice to keep our drinks cold or more sensitive foods from summer heat. TV is streaming only, has YouTube, or you can cast your phone to it. If you are tech savvy you can sign in to your google account and open other apps you are subscribed to. Internet is smooth so no negatives there. Hope to see changes next time I visit!

No Fridges Yet or ice maker?

Parking was exzellent. Room was in good condition. Clean and modern. Team and especially Frontdesk Yolanda was very friendly and helpful. We loved her. Great Coffee in the morning. Outside sitting with table and chairs was beautiful. Overall a great stay. We will come back.

For a two week stay choose a bigger room. Cleaning every two days. Not only on request. Room is quiet as long there is no couple beside you having loud discussion and listening to London music. The younger staff is needing some Training, than they're all great. We loved the Team. Improvement needed when you' re arriving, to know how to unlock the door at the gate. Hotel should send the process how to get in. Other couples had the same Problem.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. We enjoyed the location right next to the streetcar stop and in walking distance of many neighborhoods + a great bike path. a very comfortable stay and good value. They had some nice lounging areas as well. Close to good supermarkets, breakfast restaurants and taco truck. Plus the transit authority office is nearby, where you can buy a 3 or 7 day Jazzy pass for public transport.

They mentioned they would clean the room after three days but they never did. Then again, I didn't need them to fully change the sheets or anything since we were there for 5 nights and you can get towels from reception.

Lucky Inn is located in Mid City, in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. It offered very welcome relief from the relentless bustle of Downtown and the French Quarter! Reaching these areas is easy, with the closest Canal St streetcar stop (Dorgenois) a mere 2-minute walk away. The airport bus (E1) stops half a block away, at the corner of Canal and Broad. Across the road from the streetcar stop is Betsy's pancake house, which serves the best pancakes I've ever had, and there's a Wholefoods 5 minutes' walk in the opposite direction. In other words, the location is ideal. The inn is brand new, with excellent, friendly staff and comfortable, clean rooms.

Noisy neighbours occasionally became a challenge – it seems like sound insulation between the rooms is limited – but luckily 24-hour party people tend to stay closer to the Downtown action. So whatever noise there was died down at relatively civil hours.

I met the owner, she is so kind. This is an excellent value with free parking in a secure lot. Centrally located in midcity, walking distance to Whole Foods and the big easy fresh market for a healthy fare. Excellent Wi-Fi and good AC. I will stay here again.

The neighborhood was noisy during the day, and the rooms were relatively small without a desk so I had to work off of the nightstand. There is a nice office/business area next to the check-in/coffee bar no bathtub, but good shower.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lucky Inn. The room was small, but big enough for two people with suitcases. It was very clean and modern, especially the bathroom. The location was also great. The street car line was only 2 minutes away and made it fast and easy to travel to the city center. We also appreciated the free parking lot that is part of the property. In total, I can fully recommend staying at the Lucky Inn.

It was close enough to be convenient but far enough away from the all night noises from canal and bourbon st. It had a locked gate, free parking, and was very nice on the inside. The trolly that takes you to canal and bourbon st is only a few min walk. We loved being able to use the trolly system as our main transportation to get around.

There was a TV but you could only watch things through YouTube. The room did not have a microwave or a mini fridge.

The hotel had clearly been recently renovated and looked good. It was very close to a trolley line which made getting to the popular areas very straightforward. Nice room and decently priced for the length of stay there.

You can hear your neighbours/people outside your room so bear that in mind. The person checking us in spoke very quickly and was completely disinterested. Almost expected us to read his mind as he mumbled so much. The person checking out was much nicer though.
