it was perfect. best location when staying in the quarter. elegant decor marvelous sense of history just walking around. great stories about the Monteleone. it can’t be beat when wanting a true tourist experience and the romance of New Orleans.

The entire hotel has very elegant decor inside and out. The chandelier filled ceilings with elaborate trim and molding was beautiful. The location is great and we were able to walk to everything in the French Quarter within a few minutes. Our bellhop was very knowledgeable and helpful with anything we needed during our stay from the moment we arrived until we checked out. We were greeted by name every time we walked through the lobby. The view from the 15th floor was great for watching the sunsets or the debauchery on the Bourbon street balconies. The Carousel bar on the main level served good cocktails and was a good experience. The hotel offers tons of amenities but I didn't really use any.

The free wifi was slow since they offer a 'premium wifi' @ an additional cost. I asked for a couple of things @ the front desk and they told me I would have to go back up to my room to dial the proper extention and I had to wait on hold for a while once I did.

The doorman was always pleasant and helpful. He directed us to some local restaurants when we asked for recommendations. He remembered us each time he saw us and made us feel very welcomed during our stay.

Our initial room air conditioning wasn't working. After about three hours, air still not working and third time informing the front desk, they finally moved us to a new room. It wasn't that the air was not working, that's a mechanical problem. It was the lack of communication from the front desk staff. They finally helped, but a bit more communication from them would have been nice.

Perfect location for attending the Mardi Gras it was within very short distance to Canal street for the parades and Burbon Street. The hotel is relatively quiet. The pool on the rooftop great chill spot. You must book for the restaurants we unfortunately were not able to get a meal there though menu looked amazing it was very expensive. There is a shop near the hotel.for alcohol and.groceries

The room was quite small and little space for suitcase and all the beads collected part of the hotel rooms are new and much better lots of space and updated with clean colours and fittings. Cleaning of the rooms was basic we had to request cleaning as our room was not cleaned for two days and toiletries not replaced

We loved our stay at this hotel! It's in a fantastic location in the French Quarter, and we walked nearly everywhere we wanted to go. The gym is great, and the heated pool was even better (also, we found the beds very comfortable!)

The shower water was not warm at all, and there was not much water pressure, but maybe that was because we were on the highest floor? There were also a couple of days our room didn't get turned over, but I am sure if we mentioned it it would have been taken care of - the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Location was perfect. Its in the centre of all things to see and do in New Orleans , but is still quiet. I had a good Mississippi river view and the classic feel of the hotel is nice to the senses. The room was clean and it smells clean as you come in. Bed was good and comfortable.

Initial front desk service. Though I have to request to be moved to another room with better location, view of the river. I suggest give the best vacant rooms if the rooms are available whenever possible, especially first time guests and for the price we were paying it will make us come back that way.

We loved the commitment to its era of class. They staff was friendly and helpful. Security was great and reassuring. The doormen were exceptional, they got us cabs in seconds and were super nice. Our room was clean and a lot larger than I imagined. The location was perfect, we will be back.

Can't really think of one, I was pretty drunk one night and I can't remember if I found a drink vending machine or not haha but just incase I didn't there should be one. If there is ignore that last sentence. Love yall

Betina at the front desk went above and beyond to ensure I was settled comfortably into my room. She set the tone for a great experience through her attention to detail. I enjoyed everything at the Monteleone from the rooftop pool and bar and misting fans oscillating over the lounge chairs, to my room on the 12th floor, right down to the Criollo restaurant by the Lobby. Thank you to Gabby with the locs for pouring me my first Miami Vice at Acqua Bella! The food was delicious at Criollo, but the stand out feature of the Monteleone was it's people. Alan was prompt in offering help with my bags and Tyrone provided attentive service at the Criollo restaurant. A special thank you to Mr. Andre who worked diligently with me to get my phone shipped out of state to me when it was left at the hotel. And Victoria at the front desk provided spot-on information. The hotel and location are iconic. It's the place to stay when you want to feel rested and well-cared for in the busy French Quarter.

Being in the French Quarter with a pool on the roof was perfect for our grandsons. We loved our view of the river. The executive suite had two rooms, great for grandchildren.

The shower handle was a little challenging. Our daughter’s shower handle worked perfectly. Even though we could not be on the same floor, our grandsons loved working the elevator buttons. And we were located just below them, so it felt close enough.

Excellent location in French Quarter, short walking distance to most places of interest. Very professionally managed property with exquisitely courteous staff, all clearly very well trained. Lovely rooftop pool and bar, and stunning food in restaurant, including the best beignets! Outstanding jazz on Saturday night.

Interior of room safe was tatty. Can’t think of anything else!
