Beds were very confortable. Kitchen was fully equiped. We could do our laundry; the detergent was also supplied. We were relocated to the Gallier, so ended up with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Sonder staff were very friendly in their communication on the re-location. We appreciated having all the space. There is enough closet space in each room. Dining table is large. Bathrooms are spacious too. There is a very nice restaurant downstairs. French quarter is walking distance.

The bedrooms had no windows. In our country, this would not have been approved by the fire department. The windows at the front don't allow leaving the apartment on that side, which means there is only 1 exit during a fire (the front door). Again, a bit strange how the fire department could approve this. We arrived in the evening and the area around the main door was crowded with homeless and/or drunk and high people. This was a bit uncomfortable with kids, did not feel fully safe. The area is also quite dirty, we saw rats running around and in the morning we were greeted with the smell of weed, puke and garbage. French quarter is clean and feels safer.

Customer service was VERY responsive. Great location for getting to Bourbon Street, Frenchman Street, Trolley cars and the WWII museum. Lots of restaurants and the Mahogany Club was a stone‘s throw away.

Strong smell of marijuana emanating, I presume, from the VooDoo shop on the ground floor. Unfortunately gave me a bit of an allergic reaction. The floors were clean but a slick film on them when we arrived. I assume the cleaning staff left the soap down without rinsing. I almost ate the floor a couple of times! I‘m not a big ROKU TV fan - I wasn’t too happy about it, but that‘s just me personal opinion!

I would stay again, the location, the safety, the layout, the cleanliness, and how relaxing and quiet it was with great air conditioning was worth it. Especially since it was very affordable!

There were not any additional blankets or pillows, it took 24 hours for them get me an extra blanket. My brother went to bed freezing that first night. The door wasn't locked when I arrived, and the hot water heater barely works, every shower was barely luke warm.

Located on Canal St, very close to shopping, convenient stores, food and drinks.

The air conditioning unit was not working properly and I made a call twice to have it checked out. I was informed both time that someone would be out to service it. No one ever showed up but they did text me back telling me to put the thermostat on the lowest setting. That worked until the unit froze up and we would have to turn it off and let it thaw which made it too hot.

The cleanliness and utilities in the space were great. The location was perfect and the beds were really comfortable. The codes and access to the place was super convenient.

The noise from outside, while I understand that this is beyond their conteol, investing in a double glazing to reduce noise coming in. Aside from that everything was perfect.

Beds were super comfy but mirrors not in ideal or best location. bathrooms well sized.

Cleaning crew missed glitter and dust bunnies. Rug in living room by fridge a safety and trip hazard. I have walking limitations and tripped 3 times and my daughter at least once that I witnessed. I requested a shower chair and was assured one was being made available but never produced or brought to me. TV outdated with chromecast for movie apps. Smart TV are an investment and a tax write off since TVs are quite cheap now. Can't understand why the corporate group doesn't think smarter. Customer service communication is not great. No one is local and that sucks with no personal attention to renter.

the apartment was an excellent space, in a very central location

the main bedroom is above Canal Street and there is no noise treatment in the room. whilst double glazing probable isn’t an option due to heritage, even some heavy curtains would help. we also had a day without hot water anywhere in the apartment and when I raise the issue on the Sonder app, the chat function wasn’t stable or effective

closeness to everything we needed. easy to access later at night for checkin.

the floors didn’t seem very clean, had to sweep things from the floor and it felt a little grimey. would be good to have some laundry liquid available as well as a tea towel in the kitchen. not enough space to hang 4 bath towels with 4 people staying.

About everything! I can't stress enough how perfect the location was! Being right on Canal street, 2 steps away from Bourbon st, was perfect! So many places to eat right next door. A Cafe Beignet right across the street. The place was so clean, so spacious, so quiet, and literally had everything you could possibly need! They even had cooking oil, pots and pans, salt and pepper. That kitchen was well equipped. The WiFi was excellent . There is no concierge around, true, but I used the app to ask question and the response was as if we had people in the building for assistance. Great service! Overall a great experience. I loved Sonder so much, it they are available in any City I am visiting, I am not thinking twice and I am booking!

The only little inconvenience was that there was only one TV in the living room. I rented a 2-bedroom unit for 4 people. At least a TV in one of the rooms and 1 in the living room would have been nice. If you have a 2 or 3 bedroom unit, I can guarantee you that 4 to 6 people are not going to want to watch the same thing after a long day of tourism (especially if kids are there). So Sonder, think about adding move TVs to get the perfect rating!

The location was perfect! It was located right on canal st which was only a short walk to most of the popular restaurants and bars in the area. The property was spacious and clean. I will definitely look for this property again if I am ever in the area.

The hot water temp did not get hot enough. Not enough towels (washed every day).
