Location is perfect - so close to all the action on Bourbon St. but somehow still quiet! The concierge helped us book a great boat trip, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the receptionists are courteous and helpful. overall, we were really happy with our hotel choice.

Last day of our trip - the housekeeper decided to knock on our door to wake us up at 8:30, to remind us that it’s check out day. Check out is at 11:00 am. :/

concierge services were top notch. the communication with them around ordering a taxi to the airport was above and beyond. the taxi service was amazing and the driver was one of the most friendly guys i have ever met. front desk staff were friendly. were very accommodating with a room change before my stay. location was close to everything really. having the street car stops directly in from of the hotel was great. there was plenty to see all around within walking distance. beds were comfortable, room was spacious.

was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room and the housekeeping services. there was trash from previous occupants in the ice bucket, and rust in the shower. also, they floors around the beds were not clean. housekeeping did not once clean the room during our stay. (is this a covid standard?) the window in the room was extremely small, dirty to the point you could barely see out and did not open. i feel like my expectations for a 4 star hotel may be higher than what is standard these days?

I didn't have breakfast at the hotel. But the location was perfect. Everything was so close to the hotel...walking distance.

Can't complain about anything.

What I loved about the property is definitely the location . you have access to everything. we also loved that they served welcome drinks with 3 different rums with punch . I do wish it was at all times . also loved that they had Infused water jugs available in the lobby . one with cucumber and another with strawberry and lemon water . beds were a little high but decent to sleep and loved the pillows. slept good . they also over ear plugs . the room was clean and the the tv was good .

didn’t like that there is no free breakfast offered . also the employees were a little rude. they give off like the guests are a bother . every time we asked for something it was a bother. the valet staff was a 50/50 . some were nice and helpful and others rude . you don’t get that true welcoming when you arrive and really don’t want to help you . and there should be refrigerators in every room . the coffee sucked in the room . better coffee in the rooms .

Location, security, appearance and cleanliness

Front desk girl made snide comments as I was checking in as I had requested an early checkin and was told I had to wait until 2 which was fine or pay $40 .. at 4 minutes til 2 I went back up to the desk to see about getting checked in since other guests who had requested early check in had been allowed to go ahead and check in. The front desk girl said.. “I could make a big deal about the time but I won’t. Really because all of the messages I got about the place said the hotel staff were very kind and accommodating.. I really think it was because I was a minority. The shower I’m our room had very little water pressure as a matter of fact when you pulled up the knob to start the shower it wouldn’t convert all the tub water to the shower head

I LOVED the lobby, it's so classy in monochrome marble. I also loved the pool; it was a bit smaller than expected but I still had fun. I also enjoyed the Bourbon House restaurant as well! As for the beds and rooms, it was comfortable enough. It wasn't as spectacular or grandiose as the lobby, but I was able to make myself right at home.

I brought my Nintendo Switch with me, but I couldn't connect to the WiFi there, not sure why. My phone also had some trouble, but I got it to work eventually. Parents with children or fellow gamers on vacation should note that if you're going to bring your Switch or whatever handheld you prefer, assume that it won't work.

Close to all the bars.

The staff was very rude specially the guy with the long hair. The security guard had attitude. Valet parking was always on the phone.

We went during Mardi Gras and the location was GREAT!! I think other people's negative reviews are due to having really high expectations and just super picky...It is going to be a little noisy because people are partying and the hotel building is old, but we were provided earplugs in our room. Our room was clean and the staff was friendly even with the Mardi Gras crowd stress. You have to ask for cleaning services at the front desk...which isn't that inconvenient. So altogether, we had a great stay! I wouldn't say it was worth the price, but with the location and during Mardi Gras I can understand the price! would definitely stay again!

It was a great location close to everything.

The parking, after paying almost $600 for a 3-day stay you think they could throw in parking but no they charge $50 a day, for them to park your car or you can park it yourself five blocks away yourself for $25 a day. Very inconvenience.
