location is great and charm of the hotel and room is quite lovely

the parking lot across the street is not safe to park in-not the hotels fault or problem just a caution.

room was big, bed was comfortable very good location, walking distance to French quarter and garden district

there were mice in our room and when I told (not complained) the lady at the reception her only reply was: there are mice everywhere in New Orleans. I don't know if that is true but I didn't seem like an appropriate response

The restaurant was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful (I had problems with my key cards twice and they fixed that issue right away). I was able to extend another night last minute without any issue. Check in and check out was very fast. And it’s a great location, can easily walk to most of the places in the French quarter.

The elevator we used in the back to get to our room was a little rickety and the hallway by our room was always hot and humid but overall those issues didn’t bother myself or my husband.

The staff was great. They were friendly and informative. I really liked the room. It had a cool, old fashioned vibe, and a giant fan that kept me cool throughout my stay. I didn't eat at the restaurant but I had some drinks at the bar and that was great too.

I could occasionally hear things through walls like other guests' alarms going off. It wasn't a big deal, but I stayed up late working with tv as background and I worried I was bothering my neighbors.

The hotel was clean and rooms cute. Staff was very friendly.

The room we were given was supposed to be a suite with a queen bed rm 250. The bed was a full size. When I explained this to the front desk, they said that could not be correct and offered no solution. I know what queen size bed is! The side room where the bathroom and closet was located was cold and drafty. If the curtain were longer it would have helped.

Very, very comfortable bed. Friendly reception staff. Great location.

No vegetarian options in restaurant. Building work in adjacent building started very early in the morning and woke me up far too early. I realise that this is outside of the control of No 77 but if you are a light sleeper you might want to check that the building work is finished before you travel. No coffee making facilities in room. Infrequent housekeeping.

It's a quaint and unique hotel in a redone older building. It's super clean and the staff are all awesome, so your comfort doesn't come from everything being new and modern...it comes from all the efforts made to keep this at a great value and the staff ensuring you are comfortable. Easy walking distance to everything downtown New Orleans makes it one of the best values for money, along with the restaurant downstairs!

Not for folks who can't appreciate an old building being carefully brought back to life. It's quirky. The floor creaks, but is pristinely spotless and clean. You may hear your neighbor depending on where you are in the building, but every person there is cool, so who cares. Stay here.

Room was comfortable and nicely appointed, if a bit small. The bathroom was good. Everything worked well.

I had read that some of the rooms in the hotel don't have windows. I wanted a window. We had one that overlooked the street. New Orleans being a party town, at night it was very noisy until about 2am or so. Also, for the size of the room and type of hotel, it struck me as very expensive, although unfortunately that is not unusual these days.

The hotel room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was beyond comfortable that the minute we laid in the bed, we fell asleep! The staff was beyond excellent! We got to New Orleans early and they preregistered us so that way when our room was ready, all we had to do was show up and show our ID. The staff made excellent suggestions of places to dine and drink at. I would definitely stay again!

Nothing! Everything was excellent!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! We were in NOLA for the Essence Festival. The location of this hotel was ideal because it was walking distance from all the locations. The Superdome, Sugar Mill, Conference Centre and Bourbon Street are all within walking distance. The hotel staff was also amazing, it was raining when I arrived and they even loaned me an umbrella until I could purchase my own. The art gallery was a very nice fixture. I really enjoyed the ambience of the hotel.

We stayed there after the CoVid restrictions were relaxed. However, the rooms were not cleaned until day 3. You could request extra towels, if required, but they did not clean your room daily. This was disappointing.
