This must have been a bank or something similar ~99 years ago - the main floor was impressive. Our floor (4th) appeared to be recently renovated in a modern design. The room and bathroom were beautiful, and well appointed. The desk manager was very pleasant. Breakfast was great! Several kinds of protein, fruit, dairy products, even a pancake making machine - all very well tended to. There were fresh flowers at the front desk, a nice touch!

The building is downtown in an area where I would not be comfortable walking around. However the parking lot was well lit and entrance was by room key or admission from the manager only. There was also a camera system with multiple screens at the front desk. There was no freezer compartment in our mini-fridge, but the manager kept the cold packs (for our insulin) in the freezer down stairs.

The single best thing about our stay was Ali at the front desk. He made a very stressful day end on a wonderful note when we checked in that evening. He was the epidemy of what hospitality means. Very helpful, professional, courteous and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Seriously, the man knows his business!

There was some mold, missing grout and water damage in the tub/shower area. That is always off putting to see. Also, when we got to the room, the TV and desk light did not work. We called downstairs and Ali had it taken care of immediately. It ended up being a tripped breaker and the Maintenance guy came to the room to insure everything was working properly.

Location to Johns Hopkins.

My husband used the hand sanitizer at the front desk before breakfast. It must have sat there for a while because it was dried at the end of the pump. When he pushed down, the sanitizer squirted out in multiple directions getting on his close and left eye. He told the lady working the front desk who told him there’s nothing she could do for him short of calling 911. His eye got very red and teared for a couple of hours. She never apologized or anything!!!! She pushed down on the pump and said “it works OK for me”. Very poor customer service! She should have gotten him a cold wet wash cloth at a minimum!! This occurred Tuesday 9/13 in the a.m.

the property location was extremely accessible and convenient for someone such as myself who is an avid traveler throughout the city. While it may not look like much on the outside, on the inside, this establishment was very well kept and put together— it’s as if I stepped into another town, when I walked through the lobby.

Even though the property was accessible and convenient for inner city travelers. i would say that, same reason is a negative, since when you come outside of the building, you notice some questionable individuals sitting in front of the Juvenile Detention Center. I’m a Baltimore Native and all of Baltimore Residents, know about that area, and while we all understand that young people may need a second chance, the location of the hotel, adjacent, from the Detention Center, may not be a good look

Location is a short ride from the harbor. If you're a walker you can walk in less than 20 minutes.

Request for rooms to be near each other wasn't honored. There was confusion at check-in about the number of rooms reserved. Hot coffee is available in the lobby, but despite there being tea bags, there's no hot water.

I liked that the staff were friendly and the complimentary breakfast.

That they don’t clean the rooms daily unless you ask. I was not aware of this but thankfully was able to ask and get it arranged. I wish all hotels would go back to daily room cleaning no one wants to reuse the same wash cloths.

We enjoyed the breakfast and its variety and taste. The hotel was convenient for why my sister had to go to Baltimore. They appreciated the cleanliness. They took a taxi to her destinations and the convenience was remarkable.

I really don’t know what could’ve been better.

Well the phone didn't work in the room 504 the young lady at the front desk said she called twice we were in room never heard the phone ring we ordered food set down stairs for about 45 mins maybe an hour the bedroom lamp on one side didn't work couldn't cut off had to unscrew the bulb to turn off that's it

Beautiful hotel, staff were very friendly, professional, and thorough with information, room was huge, clean, and had a small fridge, microwave, and Keurig. The beds were extremely comfortable. There was a parking lot, which was very convenient, and it was in a good location. Breakfast was the usual, but I appreciated that it was available.

Large, clean, comfortable rooms with ice & vending just down the hall. staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good.

Location. Although just a mile from Inner Harbor & 1/2 Mike from some restaurants- as older, middle class white people, did not feel safe walking in the area after 5 pm. Uber worked fine, but not as pleasurable as walking.
