Good location and price/quality value. No cleaning people unless you ask for it, very important to me. I wanna sleep in

Lots of beggers outside in the area. Take Uber to avoid them at night. During the day no problem.

The customer service was excellent! We were their for my nieces wedding, arrived on May 12, 2022 and the first night went well. Friday Mylynn came to our room to check the water because it was very cold, Springhill Suites was able to give us a different room. Mylynn went above and beyond to help us in anyway possible. We recieved a personal message from a higher Authority of that Springhill Suites apologizing for the issue and took care of our first night.

Friday, May 13, 2022 one of the ladies in our room had taken a shower and said the water was getting cold, so I waited about a hour or so and took my shower it started out warm but progressly got colder. My sister who needed to take a shower before the rehearsal dinner got in shower a hour or two after I took mine, she got in and it was ice cold she had to use another family member shower in a different room

Ms. Courtney at the front desk was amazing. On a scale of 0-10, we would rate her a 15. Yes a 15. She was so kind, helpful, shared safety tips, treated everyone with respect and no question was ever too much. She made the visit, check in and check out very enjoyable for my entire family b

The breakfast was not kid friendly. Nothing really for the children such as bacon, scrambled eggs or plain waffles. Staff was very friendly and agreed with our sadness of needing to purchase breakfast elsewhere for the children. For adults, it was ok, just not the children

The staff was excellent Rodney at the front desk was awesome and helped us out with places to go since it was our first time in Baltimore.

Since I knew nothing about the area it was extremely loud both nights due to a club being on the corner. Wasn’t a huge deal but just a heads up for people who may need to get rest. You could literally hear conversations on the street and we were on the 5th floor. No sound proofing at all.

What I like about it is that the supervisor was very understanding and she help me with the situation that I was in

what I didn’t like was one of the workers didn’t explain to me correctly the policy of the hotel and I thought all you had to do was have $100 on your card to secure the room I didn’t realize you had to have all the money on the card so that’s where the confusion came in at it was very embarrassing for me but nonetheless the supervisor understood where the confusion came from and she really help me out a lot and I really appreciate that about her

Nicely converted from an old bank to a hotel and put me on the top floor to enjoy looking out the windows at downtown Baltimore. Absolutely loved the valet parking!

The windows are very small and the tv in the sitting area didn’t work. Also there was a huge skylight in the sitting area that is so big it brights up the entire hotel room. Not good for wanting to sleep in or take a nap during the daytime. The water pressure in the shower was very low as the water was extremely hot even with turning it barely above cold. Overpriced

My 4-night stay at Spring Hill Suite in Downtown Baltimore have been charming considering its historical past - a bit challenging to find though along Redwood Street if you're coming from Penn Station, i.e. if you're planning to walk from the train station to the hotel - so right off the bat, its best to get an Uber. This might be the "best decision" hotel for bag packers who would like to do a tour of Downtown Baltimore particularly the Inner Harbor which is sadly, not very engaging these days. For walks to the historical district i.e. Mount Vernon, it might be a tad far at around 30 or so minutes of continuous walking. The hotel lobby indeed looks like you stepped into the past - a nice Instagrammable moment for selfies downstairs at the old bank vault. It has several nearby fast food / to-go restaurants / convenience stores: 7-11 is nearby, Crafty Crab, Malwand Kabob (Lebanese), Shake Shack and Chipotle to name a nice few - just make sure you follow your street smarts. The room I had was large, can easily take in 4 people but is a boon for single travelers who love big spaces. There are TVs on both the living room and bedroom. And yes, it has Netflix and Showtime. Wi-Fi signal was pretty good. CoVid precautions were maintained. Bed is clean, very comfortable, no dust. Microwave was available. Staff has been courteous and polite and respond immediately to requests. The winning attribute of this hotel is its laudable breakfast spread. Fruits were present. Lots of bread and pastries, spreads (thank you for adding Nutella and peanut butter - lacking in most hotels), cereals, lovely coffee / tea with several creamers, pancake maker, eggs / sausages with salsa, cheese and spinach, yogurts, and juices. Come down with an empty stomach at 7 am.

Nothing particular about the hotel property itself. No real annoying smells; although some faint weed smell was apparent around my bathroom on my first day - alas, I have come to accept this in Baltimore where almost everywhere I go smelled weed . Shower has unfortunately low water pressure, so it wasn't as luxurious as I want it to be and this may be a dealbreaker for some. I would recommend updating the paint job outside the elevators ; there were wood gashes around the elevator frame on my floor - something that could be easily and regularly maintained considering the building itself is getting on in years.

The breakfast was great!!! I have never seen a hotel that offered breakfast, have such a selection as this facility did. They even had a breakfast burrito with chorizo sausage!! And the oatmeal was hot and freshly cooked. Not those cheap packages. And there was about 8 different things to chose from to put on the oatmeal or the cold cereal. The attendant for the breakfast area was so friendly and helpful to everyone one. He kept everything stocked. And the area clean!

The was a strange smell in the suite that would come and go. We had to buy a can of Ferbreeze to get rid of it.

The location was ideal for what we needed--several restaurants and sites within walking distance. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. All of the staff members we talked to were kind and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and well stocked

This is the smallest thing, but I'm a vegetarian and warm option was the same mini-quiches for the five days we were there. The meat-option changed daily, so this won't be a problem for most folks. (They were great--just repetitive!)

Hotel was clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Parking Was too expensive. Should have discount for seniors citizens or hotel guess. Negative was the parking.

Parking was too expensive after paying for hotel. There should be a discount $32 is too expensive. for sellf parking. A better deal with parking authority should be made between the hotel and psrking.
