Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel

We have stayed at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel 7 years ago, and the experience from our first stay remained the same to our recent stay. We enjoy the room accommodations, enmities, and service. Staff were pleasant and attentive to our needs and questions we had. The hotel is in a prime location for the Inner Harbor activities.

There is nothing I can think of from our recent stay to indicate that we did not like.

The location was great. Hotel is beautiful. I liked there is an open lot parking lot across the street. We have an oversize vehicle . For those that can park in the lot I wish they had a bike rack

I was fine that the rooms are not cleaned every day but if they are going to do that there should be more supplies in the room. Example..the only roll of toilet paper was the one on the wall. We shouldn't have to call down for items like that. There were no cups in the room. We had to call and ask for those as well. I understand it's not terrible but if they aren't coming every day better accommodations should be made

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was polite and helpful. The location was perfect. Loved being able to park below the hotel. I will stay here again!

I've been to many hotels, Germany, Paris, Zurich Switzerland, Panama and many throughout the U.S. This is the best out of all. The staff, food, location everything was great.

Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely lovely and helpful during our entire weekend stay. Then hotel was easy to find and had decent parking right across the street for $45 for Friday - Sunday. The location of hotel is close to Rams Head, Philips, and the Baltimore Aquarium. The entire hotel was clean and not overcrowded. We will come back to this hotel the next time we are in the area! Bonus, its hilarious to watch the drunks try to enter the hotel after 11 pm and not realize they need a key card. That gave us some entertainment during our stay.

There are only three little things that I can complain about. One, the elevator wait time was quite a long time. Since we were on the 8th floor, we didn't take the steps. Two, the restaurants stopped serving food early. Three hallways from the elevator to our room seemed to take forever to find. These issues will NOT stop me from visiting again; they are minor.

The facility and rooms are very clean and well-kept.

Parking is expensive and confusing.  The parking deck is owned by a separate company. And there was some confusion on if the initial check-in covered the entirety of the stay in the parking garage. There needs to be added to security and the elevator system. As it stands now anyone from the public parking garage or person of the street has access to all of the hotel rooms. There is no security in the elevator, such as a card verification system.

Beautiful hotel right beside Baltimore harbor, clean room, friendly staff. Easy parking in the garage right under the Hotel (fee 33$, on Saturday, on weekdays 36$ / 24 hrs). High quality breakfast, without any plastic cutlery.

On arrival, we first got a wrong room (1 bed for 2 people for our party of 4 persons), but the front office manager solved this problem quickly. So we finally got another nice and spacious room. We don't know, if the problem was at booking.com or the hotel itself.

Listen I just have to say this hotel exceeded what we would have imagined!!! This was a beautiful hotel and the staff and room was exceptional!!! We were very pleased and will be returning!!!! We even had the pleasure of arriving a tad early and our room was ready( I did call to confirm, and that was extremely wonderful!)

Oh maybe a little more understanding of the parking area. It was a tad bit confusing and I got lost a few times. But we managed. Still did not deter our experience!

Great view of the harbor, room very comfortable.

Only thing was no toiletries in bathroom.

All staff members were exceptional and very helpful. They went out of their way to answer questions and see to our needs. The entire hotel was very clean and well kept. Very convenient location for us. Kid friendly.

The pool could have been cleaner. The water in the pool was a little cool for an indoor pool. We were disappointed the hot tub was out of service. There need to be towel bars in the bathroom to hang towels and wet swimsuits.
