Candlewood Suites Baltimore - Inner Harbor, an IHG Hotel

Staff was good with the exception of the foreign guy with glasses at the front desk. I was trying to set up my parking before I checked into my room as another guest got to the desk to check into their room the guest asked if I was in line and before I could answer the foreign guy said “no she don’t know what she want” to the guest as I stepped up next to check into my room he treated as if he didn’t want to help me so I told him that I heard what he said about me to the other guest and he laughed in my face.

I didn’t like the way the foreign guy with glasses treated me at check in.

I loved the staff!! They were so amazing. The room was clean and had a nice view. The guard at the door was very helpful as well.

The only negative was that i wish the parking was explained a little better because I was confused on the location and how to do it.

My apartment was on one of the higher floors, with windows to the east and south. It wasn't too small or too spacious as for 1 person. It had a really big comfy bed, and a well-planned bathroom and kitchen, fully equipped. It was also very clean. The TV and WiFi worked spot on. The staff were very nice and friendly. There was also triple door and a card reader for security reasons to enter the building. The downtown location is somewhat nice, but you need to walk a bit to the WTC and Inner Harbor, and some food places on the way. There is a well-supplied Street Market to the north, 5 minutes from the hotel, though. PS. I really recommend the Museum of Industry, but you might want to get an Uber to get there.

Compared to the pristinely cleaned apartment inside, the windows were very dirty. Although there were many families and children close to Inner Harbor, it did not feel safe/comfortable around the hotel's area, especially in the evening.

Cheap for one night stay, in early September anyway. Only about a 10 minute walk from the Inner Harbor. Absolutely love the full sized Dove soaps, lotions, and hair products! The fully equipped kitchen was helpful as well. Very comfortable king sized bed and lots of mirrors with great lighting.

No free breakfast No parking The toilet seat was broken There was a pile of dirty towels and socks in the corner of the closet No bathtub like I originally booked but the big shower was nice though it leaked at night so we had to keep the bathroom door shut to block the noise out Over all, nothing too major.

The building is beautiful and the lighting creates and elegant atmosphere in the lobby. I love the fitness room! They even have a laundry room available to guest. If you need to wash I suggest bringing your own detergent but the have some available for 5 bucks you can get a 6 load bottle of gain. The rooms have a kitchen with a stove and dishes available in the room. One of my favorite parts was the shower! I mean the fact they had dove body wash was the cherry on top because most hotel soaps aren’t good for my skin. My absolute favorite part was the bed it was extremely comfortable it felt like a cloud. I will definitely be returning to this location to try out there loft suite it’s not listed on the website so you have to call or come in to book it but I hear it’s two floors and has a spiral staircase!!! Alright now get over there and see what I’m talking about!!

I did like that the kitchen was fully stocked and that it had a full-size refrigerator . The beds were nice and comfortable

The parking situation was horrible. We had to park in a parking garage that was a block away which is not bad if you can unload your stuff in front of the hotel but you can't because people are parked in the spaces that are ment for paying customers. To have to lug all your luggage along with a infant child and everything you need is really inconvenient and not safe. We stayed from Saturday to Sunday so the parking fee was not bad but it looks like any other time parking cost about 26 overnight which they don't tell you when booking the room. Also for the cost and they type of hotel you would expect they would offer a continental breakfast but they don't. All in all my stay was good and the staff was nice but my next stay I will definitely book a hotel that offers parking and a breakfast.

Very close to the Inner Harbor! less than a 10 minute walk to the USS Constellation and maybe 15 minutes to the Aquarium and Power Plant Live night life! There are several delis/cafes and a Dunkin Donuts across the street. Staff was friendly, the lobby was clean, and our room was very nice! Single queen bed with a kitchen with almost a full kitchen! Rates were excellent on this stay!

Parking was my only criticism. Hotel uses a public garage on the opposite side of the building. It’s not a far walk from the lobby, but there is no direct access to the garage from the hotel. you must walk around the building. $22 a day is the listed price. Not bad.

It was very clean, the location was great, parking wasnt the greatest but when you are in the middle of the town that is understandable, the bed and pillows was very comfortable

Housekeeping was VERY RUDE!!! They were extremely loud! Talking/yelling the slamming of the room doors, we were on a little out of town getaway and it was our last day, we were trying to sleep in and that was IMPOSSIBLE with how loud they were being! My fiancé even poked his head out the door to tell them of being disrespectful as they were being, it stopped for about 5 minutes then it continued! So we gave up trying to sleep and checked out!

Reception and check in service was exceptional. Made me feel welcomed and safe! The room was clean.

Location of the hotel. I didn't feel safe outside at all especially arriving at 9:30 pm on Sunday night. No parking so had to walk a few blocks by myself. I literally feared for my life. Thus, value for the money was overrated. I'd appreciate if someone checked on me to see if I needed anything considering I was staying there for 4 nights. I needed new towels. Later I read a note saying that you have to bring your used towels down to reception to exchange for new. Really??...🙄

There was no breakfast just hot beverage provided. The location was a little farther from the inner harbor walking distance wise than stated in the ad, other than that we had a great time.

The hotel should serve a real breakfast more than just hot and cold beverages so guests don't have to be inconvienced by having to go get breakfast else where . The hotel should state in the ad that parking is not free and should partner with parking garage for discount rate for hotel guests.
