I loved the historic building; the room was spacious and clean, and gym was very good too. The lady serving behind the bar on 4 April 2023 was excellent - professional and friendly. Wonderful.

The location was great, value was amazing compared to other nearby hotels. The rooms were modern and comfortable. I enjoyed the different options for food right on site.

The only thing I didn't like was the parking situation. It was recommended by the hotel staff for a parking garage right around the corner so very close to the hotel. They charged me at drop off for the overnight parking and wanted to charge me again the following morning even after I paid. The garage was a big cluster mess trying to get your vehicle out. I had to wait to speak to a manager to help us before we were aloud to get our vehicle, who was also running around like crazy.

The hotel, as well as our room, was very clean. The lobby is gorgeous!!! The bed was very comfortable, the shower pressure was excellent, the food at the “LB Bistro & Bakery” was delicious (ate there twice for breakfast!), the “LB Skybar” was very pretty (drinks were strong and good!), and the staff were pleasant. We loved that the hotel is within walking distance to the Inner Harbor and the Oriole Park at Camden Yards, where we spent most of our time. Note: A couple of my family members experienced some paranormal activity in their room on the 10th floor (e.g. desk chair spun around by itself and the tv kept turning off with no one touching the remote control).

The safe in one of the rooms was broken and the ice machine on the 9th floor didn’t work. Also, we would’ve liked to see vending machines to purchase drinks/snacks.

Loved the history behind it. The property was very well maintained and the staff was behind excellent. The location to the Inner Harbor was better then expected.

I thought the prices for the magic show were outrageous. They come around before the show while you’re eating dinner to do magic tricks for the kids. So obviously the kids enjoy it and want to go to the show until you look at the price of the tickets. I think $20 per person is a bit high in a hotel that is already expensive enough. So you drive over $100 for dinner and then would have to turn around and drop another $100 for the show.

Location to our event and the water front. The cafe downstairs. The cleaning staff. Bartenders at the sky bar were nice even though we went up just as they were closing. Never actually saw the bar in the lobby open🤔

Headboard was scuffed. Dust on the AC vent. Slow water drainage in our bathroom sink. Ice machine didn't work on the 16th FL. Called front desk to add my sister to the room and have a key made for her when she came, when she did one person (a black gentleman) was clueless and the lady I spoke with didn't make the key yet (20min later).

Classic retro styling was nice. The rooms were nice size and clean. The location to inner harbor and local points of interest were good. I ended up extending my stay as it met all my needs (except the ones listed below)

Lighting in room could be better for working -- desk was crowded so I moved the microwave; first room had a desk lamp but I ended up relocating and the second room had no desk lamp. Also, an additional amenity to consider would be monitor (you offer cribs and cots and other amenities) - an extra monitor available for those traveling and working remotely via a laptop would be fantastic. Second room had a drip in tub -- did not bother me but I should have reported so it could be fixed to save water and the environment.

The property was beautiful, the rooms were quiet, and the location was great. We were able to walk to both Camden Yards and the CFG Bank Arena. The coffee shop in the lobby was fantastic.

Parking was more costly than listed online, it’s $37 listed on booking but costs roughly $45 per day/night, this includes the day you check out (at 11am). We parked using Valet, when we received the car after leaving it there was a large scratch down the side (this is a newly purchased vehicle, so no scratches/dents prior to arrival). There are also no options for stairs. After arriving at the hotel Friday night after a concert we were faced with a long line for elevators and no options to walk up stairs. There are emergency exit stairs but these are not for public use.

The property is well appointed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have an on-site magic performance and ghost tour of the hotel. There is a lot of Baltimore history in this hotel. The hotel is also very well located near Camden Yards, CFG Bank Arena, multiple parks( including a dog park), plenty of nearby underground parking, and they food is delicious, both in the Lobby bar and on the roof at the Skybar.

The only complaint I had is the TV was not Bluetooth compatible. I stay up later than my wife and like to use earphones when watching shows so I don’t wake her. Instead, I used the free Wi-Fi and watched my shows on my IPad.

Loved the history of the property and the lobby architecture was excellent. The staff was incredibly helpful, smiling, and friendly. The coffee shop was convenient and had really good coffee and food. There was an intimate magic show in the bottom floor that was really enjoyable. Had no problem with Valet parking as others made comments on.

If you are going to the Inner Harbor it is a little far away. The rooms are well appointed but very disappointed in the bathrooms. Tile in the tub was cracking and old; the shower head was eye level and I had to squat a little to wash my hair.

Location was well situated within a easy walk of most destinations Donwtown and around the Inner Harbor, and local transit was easy to access within a short walk. Bed was comfortable enough for one to feel well-rested even after just a power nap. Special acknowledgement to the check-in staff for honouring a second night at the same rate.

Wifi connection was somewhat spotty at times but generally usable; it took a few tries to connect reliably to the extent that videoconferencing proceeded without a hitch. Otherwise, there is little if anything about which one can legitimately complain.
