The location and parking access to each floor was convenient for packing and unpacking the car. The restaurant was excellent. The outdoor lounge area was very nice. love the fire pit.

Not enough chairs by main pool roof top pool was not vacuumed and some guests were going in the pool in full clothing not wearing appropriate attire for going swimming!!! Which was disgusting!!! Not your fault but maybe have a sign posted and enforced. Hallways were very hot and stuffy odor. Hallway garbage cans always full. The indoor pool was extremely HOT! We had stayed at the Hilton Suites last year and enjoyed the indoor pool and was not extremely hot. We chose your hotel for the indoor and outdoor pool. The Hilton Suite pool runs out of sun very quickly.

Fantastic! We stayed here previously when it was Quality Inn before it changed over (staff said changed in 2018) to Doubletree. I didn’t realize it’d changed hands because we hadn’t been to OC in years until we arrived at a different quality Inn a couple blocks down, which we hated and checked out early and checked in here. We found it remodeled and better than ever! Hotel is super clean, staff friendly, location perfect. We will definitely be back and will ALWAYS stay here. Keep up the great work!

We loved the room the location . The bed and pillow were so comfy. The 3 pools the hottub outside pool area with the fireplace at night was awesome. RESTAURANT has amazing food and drinks. The front desk and cleaning staff was friendly and helpful especially front desk clerks all awesome. Everything you want to do is close by.

I didn't have a mirror or trashcan in the bedroom

We loved the pool, easy access to the beach and easy free parking. The room decor was great. the staff was kind. Clean. kitchen is a good value.

The pool wasn’t available two days which was half the reason we stayed. My daughter cried she was so disappointed. The rooms in the partial view side had loud noises from the hotel which were distracting. I love when hotels provide a free coffee bar but this one didn’t. Our room was not ready at check in time and we had to wait around with two boisterous kids which was frustrating as we got to enjoy less time. This was a daily issue as I saw many frustrated travelers. I know help is hard to find but it was a turnoff. and there is not really a big lobby. I wish there was a table in the room…. very strange with a kitchenette!

We had a great stay up until the day we were supposed to check out. Around 0900, while we were trying to get our 8 month old son down for a nap, there was an incredibly loud drilling sound coming up from above us. We were in room 807, and the noise was as if it were right above us. We had contemplated booking another night with the hotel but instead booked elsewhere. When we checked out, we were told “it’s a significant issue that needed to be fixed”. I understand that completely, but it would have been nice to know prior to us taking that room.

Room was nice but not worth 1400 dollars for 2 nights. For the price we spent for the room, breakfast should’ve been included and it was not. We called to ask for an early check-in, and we did not get to check in until 20 minutes before four. There were a lot of biting flies in the lobby. The staff was not overly friendly, especially the front desk staff. We did not get any cookies upon our arrival either.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was courteous and accommodating. The facility offer a free laundry room. I feel it was a bit overpriced, but overall it was worth it. .

The only negative comment I have is the outdoor pool isn't monitored, so anyone can enter the facility and use is as though it's a public pool, which stinks because the lounge seating is limited and paying guests can't utilize the amenities

The oceanfront view was spectacular especially watching the sun rise. Our room was very nicely sized and clean. We loved having a kitchenette and cooked most of our meals during our stay. The indoor pool was fantastic. Our family really enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future.

Honestly, we have no complaints other than the dishwasher constantly beeping because it's out of rinsing aid while running. Not sure if that feature can be turned off but really wasn't a big deal.

The location, we took an oceanfront view, it was worth it ! Hearing the waves were so soothing, the view was so beautiful and being able to just sit outside on the porch was great! The entire room was clean and we requested cleaning when we were out so it was always nice to have a clean room when back from the day. Parking was so awesome. Check-in was a breeze. Great location to walk then get the tram on the boardwalk, close to Ron Jon Surf shop . There is a restaurant on site with a good breakfast buffet, I suggest as well you can have food ordered and delivered.The staff were great too!

The outdoor pools could have been warmer. Granted the weather wasn’t super hot on the 2nd day we were there but we were able to sit at the beach and put our feet in the water, I jumped into the outdoor pool on the 4th floor and it was like ice.

This is now our go-to place. The beach is steps away — off the boardwalk but still on the beach. Free cookies at the front desk. Our room was comfy and clean. Kitchen is the perfect size and is stocked with plates, cups, etc. I wish I had a better view. Partial ocean view is questionable. It all depends on where your room is located. Breakfast was amazing, especially when it’s free. Breakfast was the best meal we had on our trip.
