The Boltwood Inn is a beautiful historic stop in the center of quaint Amherst MA. The properly is beautifully restored, with charming accents and very pleasant staff. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and the servers were spectacular. The food was also quite good. We walked along the main strip to see if any of the other restaurants got our attention and we were very pleased to choose the restaurant at the inn. The room was also very lovely with lots of light, a nice bathroom, and fireplace!

The decor and atmosphere of this Inn were very cozy and warm. Loved the hug fire place in the common room. Love having very good restaurant and bar at the Inn.

beds were uncomfortable, and not big enough, they said it was a queen size bed but it was more of a full size bed. for the amount they are charging for the rooms, they should provide a continental breakfast.

We had dinner which was wonderful, affordable and our bartender Keith was fabulous. Your question you posed in this survey was how we would rank the breakfast but unfortunately when we arrived we were told that breakfast was not included. No biggie as we stumbled upon an amazing little bakery around the corner with homemade bagels and popovers. All the staff were exceptional. We never made it to the fireplace in the lobby but it looked delightful. Next time?

Perfect location on the town common, easy walk around town, the farmer's market saturday morning was lovely! The room was very comfortable - dark and quiet, and the gas/electric fireplace was fun! The restaurant was lovely - we sat on the porch and the food was great. Service was a tad slow but I understand everywhere struggles with that these days.

The coffee maker in the room was nice to have but we got no cups! Our room was not made up - which is fine, I just didn't realize it would not be - it might have been stated somewhere and I missed it.

The upscale vintage feel was endearing. But the quality of everything was outstanding. The place uses geo thermal energy, but there was no lack of a/c light or water pressure. The shower was powerful. The bed was very cozy, and they even had an airpurifier.The refined accents gave us an enchanted experience. Very luxurious.

The elevator was small and not air-conditioned. It was a bit smelly.

Steven (at reception) was fantastic. Booking hadn't confirmed with the hotel, despite sending me a confirmation. Steven sorted us out anyway, at the booking supplied rates. He also gave us tons of help and info about the local surrounds, attractions, and places to eat.

Parking appears very limited, but if you go in to reception, they can give you a permit to park in the university parking down the road.

Close to Amherst campus, excellent staff, history of Robert Frost staying there frequently, satisfactory room.

For the price, I expected a free breakfast. It was listed as a B&B. Breakfast was good, service was good, but quite pricey.

Great location in the heart of Amherst! Excellent hotel with lovely rooms and comfortable beds. We especially appreciated the deluxe room on the ground floor with the view of the gardens. Thank you for an excellent stay!

it's all good. Some of the older parts of the property could use the woodwork freshened - as in sanded and new paint. but not urgent.

The Inn is beautifully appointed and welcoming. They have kept all of the historic features but have updated all the amenities. The room was lovely, the bathroom was clean and well appointed. the towels were a bit hidden. The bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the blackout drapes
