We honestly just loved this place. Our room was so clean (no chemicals, just great organic products) and so comfortable. Very light and airy with high ceilings, plenty of space and great lighting. Loved looking out at the trees. The tub was wonderful- first time in a long time to use the tub in an inn! Breakfast was so delicious with a hot flavorful latte and the most wonderful egg sandwich with a homemade biscuit that melted in your mouth. The breakfast cakes were delicious and the staff made the meal even more enjoyable. We felt happy from our greeting upon our arrival throughout our stay. You should definitely stay here.

I loved this gorgeous, a renovated historical mill. Beautiful and fascinating. Lovely staff! In the breakfast area on a winter morning while I was working near the stove, they brought me a free muffin, straight out of the over. I was in the Mt Holyoke Room. Loved the sleek design that accentuates old mill features. Big windows, yes! I want to go back and try the Northampton room. Situated above the river (of course, it used to be a mill!) in stunning New England. Quiet, serene. Why am I not living there?!

To bad they didn't just adopt me so I could stay there indefinitely.

I was fascinated by the way they incorporated the old building into a modern hotel. The structure is exposed where possible and parts of old machinery cleverly used as décor. The units are well furnished and comfortable. Right off the end of the front deck is a beautiful water fall and bridge. The staff is very friendly had eager to help, and the café has great food and coffee. The Wi-Fi worked well and the TV had cable and Hulu.

I can't think of any complaints. Our teenagers didn't even have anything negative to say!

Loved staying at this beautifully renovated old mill! Staff were the friendliest, most helpful staff we have ever encountered. Thank you Gail, Deb & Marsha! Breakfast in the cafe was special, delicious and reasonably priced. Have stayed in many places in the area - this is by far the best ever!

Could hear the people talking in the next room, but it didn't keep us awake. Would prefer brighter lighting for reading in bed. Wished the Cafe was open eves for drinks - maybe next time we come.

it’s got great industrial chic vibe, the breakfasts are home made and travellers must go to The Waxwing restaurant . The staff are very friendly

There is nothing not to like. Useful to drive if you want more exploration of nature. Cosmic cabs great for getting into local towns if you are checking out colleges Hampton taxi for long distance to airports.

We loved our room with a view of the river/falls! The modern updates were classy and clean and the room was well appointed with all we needed.

Breakfast. There is a difference between ‘breakfast’ and ‘continental breakfast’. This was not breakfast. Breakfast was offered 7:30-10:30. We arrived before 10. The few ‘pastries’ were old and dry and clearly wrapped days earlier. The coffee carafe was empty. There was no staff in sight. Not sure if the lack of service/breakfast was due to our midweek stay. It’s not required you include breakfast with the room. But if you do, please be sure to serve a proper breakfast.

Really friendly staff, great rooms with comfortable beds and lovely hot shower. We only stayed one night as we were passing through, but would happily have stayed longer. Enjoyed sitting in the lounge area chatting to other guests. Idea location to start the Mohawk Trail. Breakfast is purchased separately in a cafe within the building where they offer a good range of home cooked food. They also recycle! First place we saw that did in the US during our stay.

That we could only stay one night!

Well, the room was very nice and spacious, and well-appointed. The extra linen and blanket, etc., were very nice & comfy. Falls were nice to look at, though it was too cold to enjoy outdoors.

River Walk suite - Falls too loud for light sleepers. All the stairs everywhere - did not anticipate hauling luggage up and down as required. "Private" back entrance useless as it was blocked by a truck the whole time we were there.

I loved like it felt like a bed and breakfast type of vibe the staff was so friendly and everything was so cozy and welcoming. I loved that the cottage was its own separate private unit

I had a hard time sleeping in the bed, but honestly could just be me it didn’t change how I felt about my stay

Nice location about a block off the main street in Lake George, and easy walking distance to a variety of restaurants and attractions. The Inn had dedicated parking, a real bonus on a crowded weekend. The couple who run the Inn were endlessly helpful and responsive to requests. The made to order breakfast in the am was fantastic.

Nothing of interest to note. The Inn is still being finished, but that didn't interfere with our coming or going.
