Unbelievable clean, beautiful, and outstanding place. I am very particular re cleanliness in hotel rooms so I was amazed by this outstanding suite we got. Absolutely 💯 lovely greenery around. Big windows. Kitchenette equipped with numerous products one wouldn't expect at all in a B/B. In the hallway there is a big dvd library, box games and books. We ride 🏍 it was raining all day and night, the morning we left, there were 4 towels on the bike 🏍 just for drying it before we leave!

The queen bed. We are used for a king bed... at home. But, that's all.

Shaker Mill Inn is a beautiful property. It's a cozy B&B and it was perfect for our weekend visit to the Berkshires. The room and amenities were perfect. Plus, the owners left a welcome bottle of wine in our room. That was such a sweet gesture!

I have no complaints!

The Inn was charming, the owners were friendly and very helpful with information about the area. The room was very clean and we particularly enjoyed all of the special touches…a private outdoor space to sit, a comfortable table area for meals, well equipped kitchenette and bathroom, robes in the closet, access to books and videos to use during our stay.

Really can’t think of anything.

I was just looking for a place to stay the night with my cat while on a road trip. What I found at the Shaker Mill Inn was everything and more I could have thought of for a hotel. The room was beyond comfortable. It felt like a real home, rather than a sterile hotel room. There was lots of space and facilities and the bed was very comfortable! I had a nice view past my patio of the beautifully tended to grounds. While they were mostly covered in snow, I could tell there would be a nice garden to walk through at other times. Breakfast was a treat! I'm used to eating normal hotel fare and got spoiled at Shaker Mill Inn. The food was all ready in my room and fridge. There were some basics but also coffee cake mug cakes, a great muffin, and a wonderful slice of quiche! The hosts made my stay feel very welcoming. I was a last-minute reservation and John came down to check me in and was very friendly. There were also many notes around the room that mentioned that if we had any trouble or needed anything more to feel free to contact them. Little touches were everywhere. When I walked in the fireplace was on and jazz music was playing. They had even left out a welcome gift for my cat! I was on a 4-day road trip and this Inn was such a welcome and refreshing break. I would love to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone driving through or to go to as a destination!

Absolutely nothing. It had everything I needed and much more!

The inn was just lovely. The Keepers of the Inn anticipated every possible comfort and necessity. The Inn and grounds were warm, country cozy, inviting and just lovely. In room breakfast service was wonderful and provided a sampling of local specialties. The Keepers of the Inn were welcoming and friendly.

It was nice to have the breakfast items in our room as we had to leave super early for a bike event on sunday a.m. and had to leave early monday to get back to work!

More protein options for meals in the room.. maybe hard boiled eggs? The pull out bed even with new mattress was a bit uncomfortable unless you are a tiny light person.

Shake Mill Inn is amazing accommodation. Everything was prefect: comfort, location, design, breakfast, amenities. John is amazing host, he helped us a lot with recommendation about what to do and where to eat. I definitely recommend staying at Shake Mill Inn

Excellent property that is well maintained and conveniently located to the area attractions. Spacious well appointed rooms have everything one may need. Hard wood floors are a rare find and make it easier to keep everything clean. Gorgeous grounds with well manicured lawn and an adorable flower garden. Lots of outside space with furniture to relax on the lawn in shade or sun. Small well thought through touches like bug repellent on every outside table and terrace, large umbrellas in every room and more add to the relaxed and peaceful ambiance many come here for. The rooms are very private and you rarely see other visitors even when the place is fully occupied. Two steps from a small town Center and very close to the best hiking, kayaking, boating places and of course Tanglewood.

Breakfasts could be better

Comfy suite with all amenities and so many extras! Delicious and plentiful breakfast: quiche, pastries, bagels milk, tea, juice, and more.... Comfortable beds. Lovely views out large windows. Cute balcony. The inn hosts' attention to detail and warm welcome made our stay totally comfortable and relaxing 😌

The room was beautiful; very nice to come to danishes, milk, orange juice, hot chocolate, etc. that was already stocked in the room.

Not a great area - I wish there was more of a property you could walk around, or something to do on the property, but we had to leave the B&B to do anything
