The Hotel was in a quiet area off the beaten path. I thought it was clean and pretty and well cared for.

There was grounds work being done at 8am right outside my window. There was a guy with a gas powered weedwacker 2 feet from my window. When I told the front desk about it while checking out they said they wished I had said something when it happened and they would have done something about it. I should have to tell them not to have equipment that people have to use ear protection with running right outside my window at 8am.

I only ate the breakfast one time while I stayed at this hotel but it seemed fine. The location was perfect and I can imagine in the summer that it would be a great place to look out at the grass and the trees.

My room was never cleaned during my stay despite putting out the "please make up my room" three times. On the final night of my stay, a gentleman from the front desk knocked on my door after my return to the hotel and asked if my room had been cleaned. I replied that it hadn't. He offered to have it cleaned the next day. I said, "That's great but I'm leaving tomorrow." I understand that hotels are having staffing issues so I'm not really complaining but it would have been nice to have my trash taken away!

Th hotel this time of the year was quiet. We were on the first floor which was convenient to everything. Room clean and comfortable.

We could have stayed at the hotel for less money. I used Booking.com and paid $576 for three nights. Whereas the price now would now cost me $350.67. I don't understand booking.com pricing. Or did the hotel recently lower their prices? Over $200 difference is ridiculous.

The hotel itself was very clean, there were college kids above us who were running around and stomping until 1am (my husband and I qre night owls, so this wasn't a huge bother to us), but over all the rest of the hotel was quiet. We stayed in the jacuzzi room, and it was huge. The jacuzzi had it's own room with seperate heat controls from the main room. The sink was outside of the bathroom which was a little odd. Then there was a little sitting area seperated by a fire place, around the corner from the bed and tv area. The room was emaculate on the clean aspect, and was heated before we arrived, so it was comfortable after walking in from the freezing cold. The jacuzzi was quiet, clean, and all jets worked. The floor was a little nerve wracking, as it would dip when you stepped in certain places. The staff member at the desk was approachable, friendly, and informative. He made sure to double check the room to make sure it was ready for us. All staff we interacted with were pleasant, welcomed us, and wished us well on our way out. Breakfast was great and had many choices (eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, bagels, toast, biscuits, sausage) Coffee and tea was available in the main room of the hotel next to the check in desk.

Noisy upstairs neighbors. The sidewalks and drive way could have been salted better, there was a lot of ice.

The staff was very helpful. Milton and the gentleman at front desk on the morning of September 1st especially. Also, the breakfast was well stocked and very good, and the area was very clean. Our room was quite cleanly as well.

Location, friendliness of staff

The room rate mark-up seemed excessive relative to the quality of the property. There was a sports car race event in nearby CT so it was apparent that the rates were increased for that weekend.

The breakfast was delicious and had good options for a continental breakfast. I liked that the was a microwave in the room. I loved that there was a tv in the jacuzzi area. I've been to other jacuzzi rooms that didn't have that. The staff was friendly and room was clean.

I wish there was a pool on the premises.

my floor smelled like dog. I have stayed at 2 other properties that were less expensive and house keeping was better, but over all great value.

Great location to Tanglewood. Older building but nicely redone. Staff was very friendly and professional.

Mattress could have been a little more comfortable, but fine for a night or 2.
