It was new and clean, and we loved the bed!

It was a bit too minimal for us, lacking surfaces to put things especially in the bathroom. My husband is handicapped so we got an accessible room. The tub lacked non-slip strips, and there was no bath mat or shower chair. The main door was very heavy and needed a slow-closing feature, because he couldn’t hold it open to enter with his crutches, which made him drop the cup of coffee he was carrying. As I mopped up the coffee with a hand towel, rinsing it out in the sink, I realized how dirty the dark wood grain vinyl floor was! Yuck. Just suggestions for your future guests.

It was new and very clean. The bathroom and shower was good size.

Had to sit on the bed, there was not a comfort chair. There was a desk chair but it wasn’t meant for comfort. The bathroom door got stuck to the bathroom floor and did not latch when closed. The breakfast food was cold with a bad selection. We went down to the lobby/eating area at 8:00am and selection was sparse. Accidentally left an expensive women’s nightshirt in the bathroom. Called later in the day to see if it was found. It was never turned in and not in the room when the desk clerk supposedly checked. Disappointed

Breakfast was okay. Love having protein for my breakfast. Lots to choose from. Location was good for me too. Close enough to my family that I was there visiting.

Pool is really small. Rooms are small. I know there are cut backs, but nobody emptied our trash. It was full and we had to empty it ourselves. You don't get fresh towels or washcloths unless you call and request them. Would be nice to get fresh ones every day you are there.

I liked the room. Comfortable, clean, spacious. The bathroom is clean and i love the shampoo and soap dispensers. I appreciated the breakfast. The staff were very nice.

The hotel has a convenient location to food, the highway, gas stations, etc and is a short drive to downtown, state parks and beach areas. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a decent selection. Hotel is pet friendly and has designated pet areas.

It was easy to hear other people being loud. For instance, we were able to hear people in the pool area until late in the evening.

Once we entered the hotel we were greeted by a very friendly front desk employee. The lobby and rooms were very modern. Rooms were clean, which is important to me. I thought the bed and pillows were super comfy, and the sheets were soft to the touch. The continental breakfast was actually quite nice. There was a nice spread of sausage & biscuits, eggs, cereal, toast, etc.

There were only a few cons. I'm glad there was a fridge, but it was missing a small freezer part, which most hotel fridges would have. I actually needed to refreeze a couple of ice packs that I brought with me, so I wasn't able to do that this time. On another note, the location what is about 10 minutes south of the downtown portion of St. Joseph, but it was an easy drive to get to and fro.

The breakfast was great with a good variety of tasty food. The location was very convenient to the expressway. The room design was modern and refreshing. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would gladly stay there again.

I really can't think of anything to change or add. Lowering the cost is always nice, but I feel the cost was appropriate for what we received. I would highly recommend it to others. We have family in the area so hope to stay there again.

The hotel facility seemed fairly new, the check in process was easy, friendly and knowledgeable staff, room felt compact but comfortable and parking was easy. The room had both black out and sheer blinds which made it comfortable. I was surprised that I didn't really hear the highway traffic as my room faced the highway.

I didn't realize the location was further away from the city center of St. Joseph, I wished it was closer. It is about a 12-15 minute drive. Also, throughout the night I heard this loud quick banging a couple times, which I felt had to do with the A/C turning on and off, but it woke me up. Also, the hand soap dispenser wasn't fully filled, I felt like I had to push pretty hard to get that to come out.

The staff offered wonderful service. The only real issue was that our bed was a little uncomfortable and the walls were rather thin so you could hear a lot of noise from other rooms & the hallway. The rooms were VERY clean when we arrived, and the hotel lobby was very clean. It was located SUPER close to the Meijers which was very convenient.

Met my expectations. Staff was very helpful and polite. Breakfast had some great options. Will stay again

My third stay and found away around these 3 things I listed below. If you a light sleeper these 3 things could bother you 1-If you room is located on front side of building the Interstate noise travels through window possibly single pane windows very loud (ask for the back side right corner less noisy) 2-Light flashes bright on the ceiling located in the room by the wall hooks repeatedly will keep you up if facing that direction. 3-Thermostate clicks on and off loudly all night as Wall unit kicks on and off all night. Could not find a constant fan option to combat this situation (Tip bring a small travel fan to drown out noise made a huge difference)
