The location obviously is the absolute selling point. We were able to get a room in the tower this year, and it was truly stunning. The food at the on-site restaurant is simply put, delicious. The staff that waited on us, was our waitress last year as well, and you can tell she truly loves her job and we appreciate that.

Seem to be short staffed. Trying to call on the way to check if our room was ready was over 25 minutes of waiting while no one answered the phone. When I arrived, he was still very busy on the phone. Common issue, just a little bit frustrating.

Room With a View -- Exceptional! Bed was very comfortable! Staff was very accommodating! Stay was shortened to just 3 nights & was not charged for the change.... Even received Upgraded Room for our special occasion weekend. (33rd Anniversary!)

Learned -- after two nights -- that housekeeping services were only available "after 4th night stays" -- or some such -- which was pretty disappointing (@ nearly 200$/night!) & about which we had no idea... So had to ask for clean set of towels after 2 days. (Not impressed)

Location. Pool is huge. Facilities very nice

Out bathroom interesting. Tub shower with shower head at about 5’5”. 1 tiny shampoo, conditioner and lotion for 4 people for two-day stay. One bar of soap. For your sink and apparently bring it in the shower, too. For over $1000 for two nights- I expected a little more.

The coffee bar in lobby didn’t have lids for the coffee Made it hard to take the coffee along I believe there use to be lids and different cups in the past years, Not a big deal, but was bummed to have to purchase coffee elsewhere.

Rooms need remodel. Bathroom very small with a toilet that was extremely low to the floor. No toiletries in room… not even a bar of soap

Excellent location in the middle of downtown, perfect walking distance to great bars, restaurants, cafes, shopping, the beach. Very nice with a lot of accommodations.

Not very clean, at all. Garbage was always laying around in main areas. In the room there was a lot of hairballs, and cluttered dust.

The breakfast at the attached Minerva's Restaurant was wonderful! The location and ease at which we were able to access the lake and the downtown area was amazing! We had our small dog with us so were on the pet floor. Our older dog (12 years) was calm and comfortable. I know there were other pet families on the floor but we didn't hear one other animal. The floor was very quiet and peaceful.

The only thing that was the least bit disappointing was the price we paid for the room in regards to the luxury of the room we stayed in. However, I did book last minute and had an animal with me, so there wasn't much else available as I was traveling with my pet.

This hotel was in a great location, right downtown and close to several great bars, restaurants, and shops but it was on a quiet street so we didn't have a lot of noise from traffic. Very close walk to the beach and the park as well and offered free parking, which was a huge plus for us! The staff were all excellent and our server from Minerva's restaurant remembered us the next morning and was so sweet and welcoming. All of the staff members we encountered were friendly and helpful!

Tiniest bathroom I've ever encountered. The toilet cover was loose and could have been repaired with a flat blade screwdriver. The height of the toilet base was fit for children but not for average adult. Didn't find any vending machines for snacks. Gift shop hours not set to sell evening snacks.

We were off to the side of the hotel over the parking lot rather than the main hotel. It was fine and room was clean but would have loved a little more description as to it not being in the main hotel
