Amazing new hotel with great and clean rooms! Entire place was spotless and well set up, and had the feel of a college apartment with all of the amenities in the main lobby! Lounge area, fussball table, and a modern looking fitness center. The hotel was at the base of a hill with tall trees, which made for a great view from the room! Very close to downtown Traverse City as well and cheaper than other hotels in the heart of town. This is one of the very few hotels that exceeded my overall expectations.

Only complaint is that they ran out of eggs at breakfast and never replenished them.

The breakfast was very good. Lots of tables to sit at. Microwave available to use any time of day. Drinks available for purchase. Large room. Bathroom well thought out. Lots of towels. Walk-in shower, non-slip surface. Beds were comfortable. Lots of different types of pillows to choose from. Quiet.

We had an adjoining room, even though we had booked several months in advance. We could hear the people talking in that room but all in all they were quiet and it did not interfere with our stay.

Everything was good, the hotel was new so everything was in great condition. The staff were lovely. I also love the bathroom "not soap, radio" products!

The food choices for the included breakfast. It was very very basic for the $300/night that I paid for (a standard king size bedroom). I realized the high cost was due to the height of the summer but they should have improve on the food choices if it cost this much in my opinion.

Tyler was absolutely awesome. He corrected a mistake on our part and moved us to a handicap room. What a difference it made for my sister. Thank you Tyler your professionalism and kindness meant the world to us.

Squeeze bottles for soap are difficult for those with arthritis but the brand chosen was wonderful. Love the lemon.

We loved everything about Tru! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel was extremely clean. Very modern and colorful! Great location! The breakfast was really good and we liked the coffee and hot cocoa out all day. We had fun playing games in the open area. We can't say enough good things about this place.

The hotel was extremely clean and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The breakfast consisted of a good variety of options which would satisfy any customer. The staff were helpful and always smiling which gave me the impression that they enjoyed their work!

Updated, clean, very clean plenty of towels, quiet. Close rooms to others traveling with us. Friendly staff working diligently to refill food at breakfast. I would stay at a Tru hotel again in the future.

Hotel was pricey for what we got. Breakfast could have been better. Very little choices. We have had much better at way less expensive stays.

Location was perfect. Within minutes of downtown and Timberlee hills.

Food was good but as a recommendation, two pancake machines would be a good option.
