Best Western Plus Traverse City

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Hotel in Traverse City with my partner for a sports tournament, and we had a comfortable experience. The hotel offers free parking and the check-in and check-out process was nice and efficient. The rooms were spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Overall, the room was clean, which made our stay very pleasant.

Unfortunately, the bathroom was quite small, and the pool was overrun with kids during our stay, which made it challenging to enjoy as adults. The breakfast was mediocre, and all the disposable plates, cups, and utensils were made of single-use plastic and styrofoam, which was very disappointing. It would be great if the hotel could make some improvements in terms of sustainability and providing more eco-friendly options for breakfast.

The location was convenient and the staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and we really liked the lady who was tending to the buffet.

They put us in a handicap room which evidently was the 3rd party booking agency we used who did that. The hotel could not make any changes and put us in our preferred room on the top floor.

The location is great for visiting Traverse City. The available free shuttle service was a great amenity. Having a breakfast available was a good addition.

The price was very high for what we are used to. I recognize this was the going rates for the area. I would recommend the hotel. Overall a good place to stay.

Good full breakfast with hot and cold choices, fruit, etc., good coffee; very evident cleanliness was a priority. Location easy to get in and out. Loved the convenience of the shuttle to town! Front desk staff very friendly, informative, and professional.

Staff was friendly. Went above and beyond. Clean rooms. Great coffee. Pool area clean. Airport shuttle driver was awesome. Super nice even at 5 am in sub zero temps. Front desk staff very excellent

Corridors were freezing. Felt like the air was on. Washer and dryer charged $16 to do a load of laundry? Hot tub would be nic

The free breakfast was actually fantastic (not something you always get with hotel breakfasts). The staff was really kind and helpful, and in addition to treating us well, loved our big dog. The bed was very comfortable and they provided plenty of pillow and soft towels. Really happy with our accommodations here.

The pool is indoors and there's no hot tub.

On the Main Street. Close to restaurants, gas, stations, and not too far from the main shopping strip. Staff was friendly when we arrived. Our room had a loft which mg daughter enjoyed. It was nice to have a separate bedroom area. The hotel is clean and safe.

The bed was okay, but not really comfortable.

The staff who checked me in was very knowledgeable and helpful as well as friendly! Loved having the cookies and tea and the end of my work day! My room was very quiet which is very important to me. the room was located up a couple more stairs with just two rooms in that area.

breakfast could use more healthier items. very important to me.

I loved the room they gave me the alcove that held the window really helped to limit the light that got in and the area where the bed was very dark making it easy to sleep as a third shift nurse

The last day they accidentally gave another person a key to the room thankfully I was already packing to leave and not sleeping lol.

a great property and staff. excellent location. clean and sparkly. pool, breakfast, outdoor lounge area...ideal. quality accommodations. never disappointed saying there when visiting Traverse City. maintain high standards.
