W Minneapolis - The Foshay

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was beautifully updated but still kept the art-deco look, combining the new and traditional perfectly. The views of the city from the room and also the observation deck were fantastic. Our room was very clean, filled with modern amenities, and spacious. The hotel also offers a full bar in hip lounge area that we enjoyed. Two restaurants are also attached, an upscale steakhouse and a cafe. We tried the Keys Cafe for breakfast and the French toast and cappuccino were delicious and fairly priced. Overall, the hotel felt very safe and our room was sound. The 12pm check out time was also refreshing since we are not early birds. We would definitely stay again and we plan to look for W hotels on our future vacation destinations.

I wished there was a kuerig or small coffee pot in our room. I also wish it was a regular mini refrigerator instead of a mini-bar. I just like to have a place to keep a gallon of water cold. Other than those small “complaints” everything was perfect.

The lobby area where the bar and sitting room was ( with the fire place) was absolutely beautiful! The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was centrally located and the environment felt safe. There were lots of restaurants nearby. Our only regret was not having enough time to spend at the hotel!

Although the rooms were clean and comfortable, the set up of the furniture could have been a little more practical/ rearranged.

My friends and I are from the Minneapolis metro and we’re supposed to fly to Virginia for a long weekend but our flight got canceled and they couldn’t rebook us on a new one for 2 days. So we decided to book a room in Minneapolis and a weekend out on the town. The W Foshay was a great choice. Centrally located, clean, modern room and a building with some great views of the city.

The property was very clean and the housekeeping service provided water bottles which was very nice after a Friday night out. The observation deck was amazing and there’s even a little speakeasy on the 27th floor I believe!

Love this hotel - great size room, excellent facilities and the staff working there are amazing! Would definitely stay there again.

I searched online it said 18 plus check in, wasn’t noted anywhere on reservation it was 21 plus, front desk said it was 21 but manager checked me in, should be noted if it is 21 or 18

Absolutely everything! Especially relaxing by the fire, it just adds so much relaxation to the atmosphere. And the staff was amazing as always! So helpful, and such a good energy. And of course the architecture of the building!

The rooms were a bit dirty, and it seemed like things were rushed or the bare minimum completed. The bathroom was out of toilet paper, the glasses had water marks as though they had already been used, and there was dust in the elevators and along the window sill, vents, and curtains in the room. But those are such small things it really does not impact anything. I still had a great time!

I didn't expect the disco lounge (late night) in the lobby area, but it was not audible in the room.

some of the rooms are a bit close to the elevators. you can hear those at night. minor issue, very very nice experience in this hotel. would recommend 10/10

Very unique and modern! I definitely liked the decor.

Room was a little small but not a big deal because I was traveling alone and was there for a short stay.
