DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel St. Louis - Chesterfield

I had vouchers for breakfast. It was very good and my family each found things they liked. The staff was very friendly. They also offered bottled water, which I gladly accepted since we were heading to a baseball tournament. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioner worked well! The outdoor pool and basketball court were very nice and loved by my kids and their friends.

I wish the rooms had mini refrigerators and more places to plug in or charge electronics.

Everyone there was very nice and professional. They had a very clean facility. I did feel bad for the front desk clerk. She was the only one covering the front desk and the Starbucks coffee shop and she had a family of 5 come and want coffees when another guest and myself came in to check in. Cudos to her! She handled it with care 😊

We asked for extra linens for the pull out bed and never received them after going to the front desk and asking then calling the front desk twice and being told they would be there soon. They did refund the fee for the pizza we ordered which was a nice gesture but was still difficult for my husband to sleep on a bed with no pillows or blankets. (We didn't want the kids to sleep on a bed with no blankets). We had to use the towels and improvise as best we could.

Ample Parking spaces. Well lit parking lot. nice lobby/elevators and no issues with rooms/ cleaning. Also had hand sanitizers placed near elevators.

They were not serving Hot breakfast and instead had "to go" breakfast bag with bottle of juice, energy bars etc. Even for that, they were handing out coupons at checking and we didn't got those. Next morning, the front desk lady couldn't see that our reservation had Breakfast included. So it took 2 employees and a trip back to the room to get those to-go breakfast bags. That experience have now make me not look for or include the Free Breakfast option for my future reservations.

I liked the people, furnishings.

A/C was always blowing across the queen bed next to me, onto my bed, even when I turned the A/C off (it didn’t turn off), so I built a wall of pillows around the first bed to prevent the air from blowing on me as hard.

Staff was great the only 2 complaints were the air was on when we went in the room and it was 60 degrees with AC blowing in January. Secondly when we ran the heat it smoked and smelled like fire so we turned it off. We were cold all night with thin blankets and no heat. Then the heater clanked all night even though it was off. The property was decent and the staff was fine but the room was just ok. We were on a budget and it fit the bill. Place was nice and clean.

Very nice and clean, loved the pools (both indoor and outdoor). Room was wonderful. I can’t think of anything negative about it. Closest thing is they said they’d have a fridge up to the room in ten minutes, and it took around 35 or 45. That’s no big deal, though. Highly recommend staying here

The breakfast buffet was great!

No refrigerator or microwave in the room so had to thow away leftovers from a nearby resturant.

The facility has tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, weight room, treadmills, nice king size beds, clean, nice staff and awesome continental breakfast.

Got really hot around 1 a.m. and never got cool again

The hotel is connected to an athletic club that allows hotel guest free use with their stay.

Because of COVID 19 cleaning service daily has to be requested daily.
