Very clean and accommodating

The location was perfect for what I needed. It was centrally located, which is what I wanted. Plus, it was close to everything I needed to get to, from Walmart, and Staples, to Kroger, and some fun places too.

Upon arriving, the sign about using the front door, which was to the left, but I didn’t see it, was confusing enough that I called to ask about how to get to the front desk. Everything after that was very good. The entire staff was excellent.

The room was very clean, the staff was friendly and efficient, the bed and furniture were comfortable, and the bathroom was well equipped.

The first room that we were assigned smelled like a tobacco lounge. We quickly approached the main desk with our concerns and were immediately addressed and we were assigned another room which met our expectations. It is unfortunate that in spite of “no smoking” postings on the website and in the lobby, some guests are unable to consider the effects on the following guests or the management and staff. The room needed to be fumigated.

This was a wonderful, thoroughly clean hotel right next door to a Steak’N Shake. We knew there was no elevator, so we specifically booked a room on the first floor. It was exactly what we needed for the night. An added surprise was Happy Hour with beer or wine and pretzels. Each guest was treated to up to three drinks. Breakfast offerings were a delicious biscuit breakfast sandwich, bagels, yogurt, and wrapped fresh fruit.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Kim was amazing; kind and very accommodating to our needs from check in to check out! Facility and rooms were very clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast was fantastic :) Highly recommend this hotel!!

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about this hotel.

My husband and I had driven over 10 hours from VA , we were exhausted and we dreading stoping at any hotel because our last experience had not been good. Our last stay wasn't at a Pear Tree but it was during the pandemic too. Our stay at the Pear Tree was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was super clean, bed very comfortable, breakfast was good too, in summary, it exceeded our expectations and we will definitely consider staying at another one on our way to Boston!

There wasn't a single thing that we didn't like!

Room and carpet were perfectly clean. Nice staff at check in.

Everything about our stay was excellent. I wish the other hotels we stayed in earlier in the week were as nice with such an exceptional nightly rate. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.

The young man at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Sadly in this day and age that is hard to find. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The room was cool and ready for us to just come in and settle in for the night.

Breakfast was superb. Different variety of hot and fresh foods. I loved the scrambled eggs.

No walking sideway across the highway to the university. Transportation could be a problem if you do not have a car.

breakfast was very good over all it was a very good stay. this was our second time there, we stayed last year going south stay not as good. someone sent me an email and said they would address problems looks like they did. glad we gave you another try.
