The location is beautiful - alongside a tree-lined lake, quiet and with great options for walking, kayaking or cycling. It's peaceful and relaxing, but not so remote as to be inaccessible. Also, at night, it has a great view of the stars. The inn itself is incredibly well-kept, clean and comfortable. It is decorated with a great array of beautiful furniture and art. Even the plates are delightful! The rooms are bright and have everything you need. Honestly, the handmade soap smelled good enough to eat. Breakfast is great - it varies day-to-day, the homemade granola is delicious and the hot breakfast is freshly made and still sizzling (I had sauteed ham with cheese grits). In the evenings, the the living room often has people pleasantly chatting, and Denis is happy to help you on anything. I had an excellent visit, and enjoyed my stay very much.

This was a really relaxing stay and the place had a very homely feel! Loved the free kayaks and SUPs to use on the lake and the area was beautiful. The hosts were really accommodating and went above and beyond to help me out when I could not find a away to get to my next destination in the absence of taxis in the area.

It is really inaccessible (but this maybe what you want!) and so you need to have a car. The nearest food is over an hour walk away and there is no shop, although bikes were available to cycle around.

We loved this place, set in quiet location next to a lake where there's the opportunity to take out a kayak or enjoy a pleasant walk around the lake. Our room was good with comfortable beds and a hot shower. There were facilities downstairs for guests to use a fridge, sink, glasses et cetera. The breakfast was absolutely superb, with amazing home-cooked food, and was served with proper cutlery and crockery (the only breakfast we had like that in America), there was no plastic in sight! There were also recycling facilities offered. The host was friendly and welcoming and there was space downstairs to sit in the evening and play games or enjoy a glass of wine and a chat with other guests.

A beautiful location on a lake. Very quaint and old Inn. It was comfortable and inviting with a great New England atmosphere. The breakfast served every morning was 1st class! Not your typical B&B fare.

I loved everything about the property. Some people might find it not modern enough, but I loved the rusticity!

I love the scenery at the lake, sleeping in absolutely quitness and being close enough by car to wonderful hikes. The breakfast is wonderful - each day starts with a smile;)

Breakfast was gourmet and the owner checked us in and was extremely helpful and accommodating. We would love to bring friends and family to stay.

The homemade breakfast in the beautiful dining room overlooking the lake and the relaxing atmosphere and the warm stove in the sitting room. Two dogs were a plus!

Room and bath were small but had two comfy chairs and comfy bed. Hallways were cool.

Everything was wonderful. The location, the room, the living rooms, breakfast was superb and the hosts were marvellous. We would like to return and stay longer

The Inn was a wonderful vacation. It was a very relaxed environment with use of boats and paddle boards. I loved that they allowed young kids to stay there as well! (I've experienced Bed and Breakfasts in the past that did not allow kids which is always disappointing on a family vacation!) The kids were welcomed as well. The kids loved playing with Angel and Grace, two wonderfully behaved dogs.

I think Dennis provides a perfect rural Inn experience. It has tons of character, is extremely comfortable, and service with a smile!!
