The breakfast was on par with other chains offering this. The room was comfortable and working functional with standard economy hotel offerings. The lobby staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room was situated in the central core where the two wings converge on the elevator. I’m not sure about other rooms, but ours had a large floor to ceiling air handler unit in the corner beside one of the two queen beds-where one would usually see a comfortable chair. So the only place to sit was on a bed or on the standard desk chair. We also had a neighbor across the hall with two piercingly loud yapping dogs.

I used to always stay at the cheapest places. Now that I travel mostly with my family, those places are no longer acceptable. If you are with family, this hotel is a a GREAT low cost alternative. It may not be 5 star, but I would have no problem sending my wife and child back to Hampton Inn Kingston, Alone. Friendly staff, easy check in / check out, GREAT Breakfast in the morning, pool and the room was clean and comfortable.

The only thing I would like to see improved are the tv's. Nice selection of channels but the guides are practically useless. I just wanted to cast my phone and youtubetv to the screen but we watched on a laptop instead - oh well. This is a common issue with all hotels, not just here :)

I would highly recommend this hotel for many reasons. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The common areas are comfortable and quant. I love their lobby with the fireplace and big screen tv. We enjoyed sipping wine and relaxing in there. The staff were friendly courteous and accommodating. The pool looked very nice and clean although we didn’t use it. The hotel has many food, and shopping options nearby and is only about 12 muon items away from a quaint downtown in Ulster Park and a lovely winery too. I would return for sure!

Very satisfied. But maybe more snack and drink vending, ice machines not just on the first floor would have been better.

Didn't love the people bringing their dogs down to breakfast. The dogs were fine but people would go up and interact with the dogs and then walk right up the breakfast bar and start using the utensils ect. without washing their hands. It was disgusting. I know everyone loves dogs, I do as well, I have dogs, but this is out of bounds in a public setting, in my opinion

Whenever we travel i try to get a decent hotel for my family to enjoy a luxury away from home. i splurged on this room, because of the location and because they had the pool open until 11pm. Facilites were clean, had parking and every convenience in realitive distance walking or a few minutes driving. My only issue is my family is big and the queen beds were not even close to being queen. however a small family would fit on those beds and have space. ill definitely stay here again

the pillows!!!!! it was like it was made of cotton candy! so soft! i need to make sure to put in a request for hotels to start having choices on pillows(soft, medium and firm). also the family across the hall was loud

the breakfast was great. the room was near the pool which was great cause we had our 6 year-old grandson with us. desk crew was exceptionally nice and parking was easy and convenient, also the hotel was really really clean which is always nice. also the to go bags in the lobby were really really convenient and well appreciated

well the pool was not available the morning we left which was bad news for my grandson. really no big deal because it was time to leave anyway. other than that was pretty hard to find fault with anything

The rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean, well appointed with everything you'd need. The pool was nice as was the fitness room. The hotel had nice, clean and welcoming common areas as well and the free coffee, tea, cookies and water was a nice touch to make us feel welcomed. Great location too, very easy on and off the highway (Kingston was not our destination).

The breakfast was not very good; just very basic, like what you'd expect for a lower-priced hotel. Nothing special, flavorful or interesting.

I noted in the reservation that I was traveling with an immune compromised child. I asked at the desk if the room had had additional scrutiny. when I got to the room, most of the room was clean but the bathroom door was not clean, either side, visible dark particles. on the Wednesday morning, the outer door of one of the elevators looked as if someone had projectile vomited on it and it was a couple hours before it was cleaned.

Staff very courteous and professional, breakfast was satisfactory.

Two small maintenance issues in room, dripping faucet and towel hook on wall was pulled from wall and pushed back into screw holes, hung towel and pulled from wall. Let front desk know when we checked out.

THE ROOM WAS EXTREMELY CLEAN and in excellent repair. The breakfast buffet was constantly being cleaned and restocked. The receptionist at check-in was so friendly and offered us fresh made coffee and cookies as we arrived at the hotel. Perfection!

Everything was perfect
