Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was quite comfortable, too. I actually extended my stay, because it was a good home base for exploring the area, central to the Hudson Valley Region. The room was well laid out and functional, so I had a place to sit and relax, a good computer desk, and the sleeping area slightly divided from the rest.

The smoke detector in the room had a bright green flashing light on it that lit up the entire room all night! It didn't keep me awake once I got used to it, but it would have helped if the partition between the bed area and the sitting area was longer, to block the light from flashing in my eyes. Also, there were pipes banging in the walls whenever someone upstairs took a hot shower (I think that's what was going on, I could hear water flowing behind the wall, too.) Not very soundproof, I could hear people walking around in the room above me and the voices of people in the room next to me.

The hotel is a good jumping off point to visit places in New York's Hudson Valley. For those with a car, there are many restaurants and stores for shopping in the general vicinity. The room has a mini refrigerator (very convenient for storing beverages during hot weather) and there are ice and vending machines on some floors. An indoor pool and fitness room are also available. The bathroom has some basic toiletries. Breakfast is bountiful, and coffee and a water cooler are available in the lobby throughout the day. There are carts available to take luggage to/from your room.

Arriving before the 3pm check-in time may incur an additional fee, or you have the option of joining the Hilton rewards program at no charge. The fitness room has to be opened by a front desk attendant (rather than with your electronic room key) for security reasons, I was told.

It was welcoming and clean. There wasn’t much dust in the room. That is always great for someone with allergies. There is another entrance, not just the main one. No full carpeting in my room which made me feel like the floors weren’t gross. Some hotels never clean the carpets. The shower had really strong water pressure and it was spacious. No stinky shower curtain but sliding glass doors.

Lack of allergens or nutritional information for the breakfast items available. I didn’t know what was safe to eat. There were not many options to just be safe. Level above is really loud. I think it was just small kids running around though.

Comfortable rooms, Large bathroom, Great amenities, Good Breakfast, Amazing Staff! This was my second stay in six months and several members of the staff were just as great as my first experience. I truly appreciate that even in the chaos that can happen in the hospitality business, this team is willing to put on a smile and do what they can to accommodate. Samantha (First Shift) and Antoine (Third Shift) remembered our first stay and again went above and beyond to ensure customers had an amazing stay.

It is pricey per night, but you pay for excellent service and accommodations. I was not too happy we received a call late at night from the Front Desk. Antoine did an excellent job in fielding my frustration and explained through there was a complaint in a nearby room and had to contact the surrounding area. I didn't think we were the problem, but the staff did what was necessary in an exemplary manner. Thank you!

Beautiful hotel, spotless and modern. The bathrooms were so clean, everything about the room and facilities were great. The employees were professional and personable.

I made the reservation the same day I stayed. When I arrived at checkin, I was told they had a blackout the night before from storms. They just had electricity restored 2 hours prior to check in. Magnetic door keys weren’t useable. An employee had to open your room. Wish I would have been notified prior to check- in. The AC was set and although it was cool. At night it hardly went on, and would get a little warm. I paid for a room with a view, and got to look into the parking lot. Room definitely wasn’t cheap. Would have liked to have some compensation.

Breakfast was good.

I didn’t like that they put $100.00 on our charge in case we have incidentals. I didn’t like that they didn’t tell us that there was no maid service if you don’t stay at least 3 nights. And use Covid as an excuse. Covid is over. Be honest it saves you money. I would think they could at least give you fresh towels or see if you need coffee. The answer I got was you have to request it. Tell me what the policy is and I can confirm. I also asked how to turn a light on in the ceiling in the foyer; I was told it may be unplugged. In the ceiling???

Staff were excellent. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

The swimming pool and hot tub were fine, a little small. However, I really like to use the pool and relax my body before I start back out on the road and the hours of the tub use were not appropriate to that. This seems to be a hotel for working people and I was surprised to find the pool did not open until 9 am. We also had a problem with noise from somewhere in the room, probably the air conditioner. As soon as we went to bed it started and after an hour I called the front desk and they couldn't get someone right up there, and we had to get up early to get on the road, so we used ear plugs instead.

Clean, sleek, newish hotel w/ a large hot/cold breakfast buffet, decent indoor pool and gym, and spacious, attractive rooms w/ especially nice showers. Staff were pretty friendly and the hotel was clean and bright.

Staff seemed overwhelmed at breakfast as food, plates, bowls, and even utensils kept running out. Also the sound control in the room was decent but we still heard kids running around upstairs and people in the hallway. It was additionally frustrating to ask for a room on the top floor away from the elevators and get the complete opposite room; why make special requests via Booking if they are then ignored? Finally the entrance to the property was tricky; if heading north you have to make a U-turn on a busy 4-lane road into the entrance to a storage place and the hotel signage is limited.

This location was perfect for our Hudson Valley Stay. The hotel and our room were really clean and comfortable. Hyatts give you an ample breakfast, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Samantha and Daeveon. Sometimes hotels can feel very impersonal but this one didn’t.

This is mentioned in other reviews but the accessible shower we had presented a bit of a challenge for keeping water from overtaking the floor. Just be aware if you have an accessible bathroom to keep your eye on that.

The Hyatt was a clean, modern, and comfortable facility. I really enjoy it when a hotel does a good breakfast that's included in the room charge, and theirs was great. But the icing on the cake for me at this place was their indoor pool. The whole thing sparkled, literally, because it was so clean and bright. The pool was larger than normal for an indoor hotel pool, and it was just so much nicer than many hotel pools I've swum in.

Hotels these days apparently tack on a substantial extra charge that they refund a week or so after your stay to make sure you don't trash the place, and even though this was explained to me at check-in, it's still a little disconcerting. I'll have to remember to check my card balance to make sure I get the credit. I wonder if the check-in procedure couldn't be adjusted to be a little more transparent and easier.
